Teachings from :
The fundamental similarity between the Buddha and all sentient beings lies in the fact that both possess the same original, true nature. The distinction is that the Buddha has already fully realised this true nature and now engages in the compassionate work of saving all beings, guiding them to rediscover their own inherent nature. In contrast, the true nature of sentient beings remains obscured. Through diligent practice, we strive to awaken to our true nature and ultimately attain Buddhahood.
The Compassionate Legacy of Shakyamuni Buddha
We express our deepest gratitude to Shakyamuni Buddha for teaching us that all beings possess an inherent true nature and Buddha-nature, and that everyone has the potential to attain Buddhahood. We are profoundly grateful for Shakyamuni Buddha’s teachings, through which humanity has come to know of Namo Amituofo and the of Ultimate Bliss.
The manifestation of Shakyamuni Buddha in this world was a truly extraordinary event. It required the simultaneous ripening of the people’s affinities to bring forth immense for all sentient beings. These Dharma affinities encompass every stage of Shakyamuni Buddha’s life and his various earthly experiences.
These include:
All of which required profound Dharma affinities.
The Flow of the True Teachings
This magnificent affinity continued through his lectures, teachings and travels. After the Buddha entered Nirvana, five hundred great Arhats gathered to compile his teachings into the sutras that have been passed down to future generations. This ensured that the Buddha’s teachings would continue to guide us through a twelve-thousand-year cycle.
This cycle is divided into three distinct periods: one thousand years of the True Teachings, one thousand years of the Semblance Teachings, and ten thousand years of the Dharma’s Decline. We are currently living in this era of the Dharma’s decline, which is also a period of special Dharma affinity between Shakyamuni Buddha and all sentient beings.
Because Shakyamuni Buddha promoted the Pure Land path, humanity has come to learn of the existence of Namo Amituofo and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This provides all spirits with a destination—the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, a sanctuary where they can be saved and attain Buddhahood, rather than continuing to wander and suffer within the six realms of cyclical rebirth. This is the greatest grace that Shakyamuni Buddha has bestowed upon all sentient beings.
A Sanctuary for Rebirth
At this very moment, Namo Amituofo is truly residing at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. This is a fact, and we hope that everyone who sees or hears of this will place their faith in it. Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre serves as a vital transit station between the human world and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Once you enter this place, you are granted the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Practitioners should practice with fierce diligence, seek the Dharma, and purify themselves to attain the opportunity to realise their true nature and achieve Buddhahood. The fact that Practitioner Su can freely travel to and from the Western Pure Land stands as the ultimate proof of this path.
The Path of Single-Minded Devotion
For those who come seeking the Dharma, if you can awaken the Bodhi mind, single-mindedly recite ‘Namo Amituofo,’ and make a sincere vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, you will receive the Buddha's blessings and fulfil your wish. By doing so, you can make this your very last lifetime in the cycle of rebirth. Through steadfast effort, practitioners will receive guidance and blessings from the Buddha, allowing them to purify themselves and realise their true nature. We urgently encourage everyone to cherish this magnificent Dharma affinity.
