"Namo Amituofo. I have received the heartfelt pleas for rain that Namo Amituofo conveyed to me on behalf of all sentient beings yesterday.
The Celestial Request
Namo Amituofo is truly filled with boundless . I wish to report to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su that it is not that I refuse to bring rain. Rather, I have received countless requests from celestial beings across various heavenly realms.
Prioritising the Assembly
Many of these beings are participating in the and are seeking rebirth in the Western Pure Land. They have requested that I temporarily delay the rainfall so that the ceremony may proceed without disruption. I have observed the conditions for the rain, and I believe that next week would be the most appropriate time for it to fall. Therefore, you have not seen rain until now. I humbly ask for Practitioner Su’s understanding in this matter. Is this arrangement acceptable?"
