The Path of Purification
For those who engage in diligent practice and commit themselves to the path of purification, the rewards are profound. As you work to remove the stains of , awaken the heart from its long slumber of delusion, and gather the scattered fragments of your spirit, you begin to experience a transformation. When the impurities of your Body-Mind-Spirit are thoroughly cleansed, your true self-nature is revealed. In this state, the heart-light, the golden light of the body, and the circular light of the crown begin to shine forth.
Ideally, one’s Six Roots should be complete and pure, allowing the signs of this purity to manifest clearly. However, if one finds that their Six Roots are lacking or impaired, this is merely the manifestation of past karmic results. Through sincere repenting and diligent practice, you can wash away the dust and grime of past lives. Even if you begin with obstacles, you can still reach the state of an awakened being, allowing the heart-light, the golden light of the body, and the crown light to manifest in their full glory.
The Radiance of and Wisdom
The appearance of the golden light of the body and the circular light of the crown is a profound sign. It represents a state of light that is pure, untainted, and filled with compassion and Wisdom. This light is the embodiment of . Those who possess this radiance are able to:

- Widely save all beings, helping them to leave suffering behind and find true happiness.
This golden light and the circular crown of light bring hope and clarity to all beings. It inspires them to believe in the Buddha, to trust in the Buddha nature within themselves, and to take refuge in the Three Jewels.
The Twelve Light Virtues of Namo Amituofo
When beings receive the Buddha-light, it permeates their entire Body-Mind-Spirit, bestowing upon them a sense of peace, harmony, hope, and liberation. Our original nature is inherently like this, but because we have become lost in delusion and covered by layers of obstruction, we fail to recognise our true self. When the Buddha-light shines upon us, it dissolves these illusions, allowing us to see our true nature and return to our original, pristine state.
The Buddha-light of Namo Amituofo manifests through twelve distinct virtues, each serving as a beacon for our journey:
- The Light of Infinite Brilliance
