The Compassionate Call to Return to the Western Pure Land

In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, there exist infinite beings who possess boundless compassion. Seeing the suffering of sentient beings in the world, they chose to leave that blissful land to descend into our human world and across the universe on a mission to save living beings. They travelled through the Saha world, the vast reaches of the galaxy, and the ten directions of the Dharma Realm. However, once they entered the cycle of rebirth, they became lost. They forgot their original home and became submerged in the cycle of rebirth themselves.

The Inherent Connection to the West

These beings, despite their current state of confusion, still possess an inherent "Western Heart." Because they once resided in the Western Pure Land, their connection to that realm remains deep within their consciousness. When they hear the teachings of the Pure Land once again, they are capable of awakening that dormant potential. They can arouse the Bodhi mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo, which allows them to find their way back to the Western Pure Land.

The Sacred Work at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre

Practitioners who come to the Centre have many paths to liberation. Some engage in True Cultivation, working diligently to purify their body, mind, and spirit until they reach Awakening. Others focus on listening to the sutras and hearing the Dharma, or they dedicate themselves to supporting the Triple Gem, thereby helping to spread the Pure Land teachings to all corners of the world.

Seizing the Moment of Spiritual Maturity

Today, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, following the compassionate vows of Practitioner Su, is able to lead spirits who have received Chao Du into the Western Land of Dharma Nature. After these spirits listen to the sutras and hear the Dharma, they express a sincere wish to enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. During the Thrice Yearning Ceremony, they are guided directly into the Buddha's country.
