The Sacred Environment of the -Nature Land

Asvaghosa currently resides within the serene and sacred of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Here, he not only listens to the profound Dharma talks delivered by Practitioner Su but also diligently carries out the instructions previously entrusted to him by Namo Amituofo. His primary duty is to provide guidance to the various beings seated upon the lotus thrones within this realm, teaching them according to their individual needs and capacities.

Bodhisattva Asvaghosa deeply perceives that in this tranquil and purified environment, the effect of the beings listening to the Dharma and absorbing its essence is far superior to the chaotic and noisy human world. The education provided by the Buddha, the teachings of Namo Amituofo, and the nature of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss all resonate perfectly with the original nature that every being inherently possesses. This environment allows them to understand the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, and recognise their past mistakes so they may change their ways.

The Transformation of the Heart

Among these beings, the most remarkable changes in behaviour and character are seen in the demon crowds that were once summoned and subdued by Practitioner Su. Their transformation serves as a powerful testament to the fact that, provided there is a good, pure environment and a great teacher, the education of the Buddha can successfully reveal the inherent nature of all sentient beings.

This change is most evident in the group of beings who, during this global pandemic, originally came to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre with the intention of causing destruction. Through the compassionate influence of Practitioner Su, they have been transformed. They are now known as the new Buddha-children, and they have become an integral part of Practitioner Su's salvation team.

The Freedom of the

Bodhisattva Asvaghosa is able to move freely between the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and the Western Dharma-Nature Land. This is a manifestation of the freedom of the spirit. Similarly, Practitioner Su, having realised his true nature, possesses a Dharma Body that can move freely between the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre at any time.

Furthermore, to deliver sentient beings, his Dharma Body operates with complete ease. He can travel throughout the Dharma realm of emptiness and to any place where he intends to save beings. At any moment, in any place, he can open up the infinite space of the present and the past. At this time, the human world is suffering from a widespread pandemic. The lives of all creatures are under great threat. If they are infected, they quickly face death. This has caused global panic and anxiety, leading to the suspension of air travel and the sudden blockage of communication between nations, which has significantly reduced the livelihoods and income of the people.

A Global Mission of Deliverance

We all know that this is the collective of the people of the Earth. For such a long time, people have been helpless in the face of this pandemic. At this critical moment, Practitioner Su stepped forward. Relying on the great compassionate vow of Namo Amituofo, he led the salvation team and the patriarchs and venerable masters of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss—including Bodhisattva Asvaghosa—on a grand mission.

During the , as they walked and chanted the Buddha's name, they departed from the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in a magnificent procession. Their Dharma Bodies travelled across mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Malaysia, before returning to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. The speed of this was truly breathtaking, and the number of beings saved was immeasurable and boundless, which is truly awe-inspiring.

  • The Chao Du reached across vast mountains and oceans.
  • It covered plains, flowers, trees, and the soil itself.
  • It included creatures, temples, and beings in spaces that no one knows or cares about.
  • Most importantly, it reached the countless beings who passed away rapidly due to this pandemic.

These souls arrived carrying the suffering and illness of the pandemic. Many of them had distorted and painful expressions, and some were filled with anger and anxiety. After Practitioner Su arrived, the light of the Buddha shone upon them, calming their angry emotions. Bodhisattva Asvaghosa worked to soothe these beings in a very short time, explaining how the Buddha-light and the salvation of Namo Amituofo could help these suffering souls leave the space where they were trapped by illness and pain.

The Power of the Buddha-Name

Accompanied by the Buddha-light radiating from us, and the sound of the fourfold assembly chanting the Buddha's name during the procession, we brought a great sense of stability to these suffering beings wherever we went. The sound of the chanting followed us everywhere. Especially in mainland China, a land so vast with so many spaces and so many living beings, the scale of this work is unimaginable.

When these beings accepted the words of Bodhisattva Asvaghosa and were transformed by the bright and powerful energy of the Buddha-light, they joined the immeasurable and boundless living beings in chanting, "Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo." With the help of the members of the salvation team, a vast number of spirits entered the Buddha-light in an orderly fashion, gaining the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. The spectacle was truly moving and inspiring.

A Beacon of Hope for the World

The endless great of the Buddha, which does not abandon a single suffering being, is truly inconceivable, especially during this sensitive period of the pandemic. It is truly inspiring to see the Buddha's power and boundless Dharma power in action. We are full of admiration for the great wisdom of Practitioner Su. The suffering of sentient beings requires the endless compassionate vows and the wisdom of the Buddha's teachings to be saved and to leave suffering behind.

This is the essence of the Buddhism: that all beings and I are one. This is the preciousness of those who have realised their true nature and attained the Dharma Body. The stability of the spirits in the underworld can lead to the stability of the living in the human world. The balance and harmony between the two require the compassionate power and great ability of Namo Amituofo, who resides in the Dharma realm of emptiness, to resolve the damage caused by the pandemic. It also requires Namo Amituofo, the Great Physician, and Practitioner Su, the manifestation of , to come and relieve the suffering of the beings in this Dharma-ending age.

We are grateful for the compassion of the Buddha. Bodhisattva Asvaghosa is fortunate to participate in this work as a member of the salvation team. We hope that under the salvation of Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su, and the salvation team, this pandemic can be resolved soon, and that air travel between nations can be restored. More importantly, it is a great blessing for the local beings that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can remain here permanently. The previous success in praying for rain during the drought is just one example of this.

The grace and that Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su have bestowed upon sentient beings are too numerous to count. Bodhisattva Asvaghosa prays that Namo Amituofo will forever abide in this world, keeping the doors of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre open to lead the spirits of both the underworld and the human world to bathe in the Buddha-light together, thereby relieving the suffering of life. May all beings fulfil their wish to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Namo Amituofo.

This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
