On the twelfth of May, 2024, during the first session of the day, Namo Amituofo offered these profound teachings regarding the nature of the of Ultimate Bliss.
A Realm Beyond Inequality
The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a realm defined by perfect equality. In the world where we currently reside, beings suffer immensely because of the pervasive inequalities that govern our lives. These disparities in status, fortune, and circumstance are the root causes of much of the pain and conflict we experience daily. Recognising this, Namo Amituofo established the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss as a sanctuary of absolute equality, a place where one can truly become a Buddha.
Within this sacred realm, all beings share in everything that Namo Amituofo possesses. There is no suffering, no lack, and no competition. Instead, there is only the boundless of the Pure Land, which is available to all who are reborn there. It is a place where the heart can finally rest, free from the anxieties of the human world.
The Path of Individual Progress
When beings are reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, their experience is naturally shaped by the state of their own spirits. The level at which one enters this realm is determined by the purity of one's spirit and the depth of one's practice in chanting Namo Amituofo. This is not a matter of external judgment, but a natural reflection of one's own spiritual cultivation.
Just as the lotus flowers in the sacred ponds grow and bloom in different situations, the spiritual development of each being is unique. Within the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, all beings lead lives of equality, yet they continue to progress according to their own efforts. Namo Amituofo selflessly provides for everyone who enters, allowing each being to enjoy the abundance of the Pure Land according to their own level of practice.
Ascending to the Land of Eternally Quiescent Light
As the sages of the Western Pure Land continue their practice, they naturally elevate their spiritual standing. They are free to enjoy the benefits and wisdom associated with each stage of their growth. This journey of continuous improvement does not cease until one reaches the ultimate destination: the Land of Eternally Quiescent Light. It is a path of constant refinement and deepening wisdom.
This environment, which is perfectly suited for the cultivation of Buddhahood and the refinement of one's spirit, was created by Namo Amituofo. Today, Namo Amituofo is present at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to provide direct guidance and assistance to all who seek it. No matter where you come from, whether you are a being from the realm of emptiness or one of the beings of the six paths, you have the opportunity to enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
