The Vessel of Unwavering Trust
To have faith in the Buddha is to place one's absolute, one hundred per cent trust in Namo Amituofo. There must not be even the slightest trace of doubt or hesitation within your heart. Only when your faith is complete and unwavering can you receive the full, unobstructed of the Buddha. It is through this total surrender that the Buddha's power manifests, allowing you to experience the magnificent benefits of the .
If you harbour even a tiny fragment of doubt, it acts as a form of impurity; it is not true faith. Even if the Buddha were to appear directly before you, if your heart is clouded by suspicion, there is no point of connection through which the Buddha's power can assist you. Consider the metaphor of pure water, which is meant to cleanse away all dust and grime. If you pour this pure water into a cup, it should be able to wash the vessel clean. However, if there is a hole at the bottom of that cup, the water will inevitably leak out until the vessel is empty. Although the pure water was once present, it has been lost through the hole of doubt. Consequently, the dust remains, and you fail to receive the benefits of purification that the Dharma provides.

Strength in the Face of Impermanence
When you possess true faith, you are empowered by the Buddha's power of merit and majestic power. Within this state of faith, you will receive an abundance of merit, which allows you to dissolve karma, clear away obstacles, and accumulate virtuous deeds. You will be filled with the Buddha's majestic power, ensuring that you remain fearless and unperturbed by any demonic interference or illusory situations.
