The Sorrow of a Fading Lineage

I am Lay Practitioner Huang Nianzu. As I look upon the current state of the , I truly feel a profound sense of sorrow and coldness in my heart. How has the practice of the Buddha’s teachings come to this present state? It is a sight that leaves one heavy-hearted. I believe that many of you can see this decline, yet I must ask: are you truly unaware of the gravity of the situation?

Many people continue to live their lives in a state of blind confusion. Every day passes without a sense of grounding, and their practice does not lead to the ultimate Truth. If one continues to deceive oneself and others, can one truly achieve success in the path to Buddhahood? It is difficult, and it is becoming harder with each passing day.

The Illusion of Comfort

Is the Buddha’s teachings flourishing or declining today? Is it not clear to all of us? Why do so many seem content to merely look after their own comfort and safety? If the Buddha’s teachings are presented in such a way that they lack the power of , then who will ever understand the grace of the Buddha? The vastness of the Buddha’s teachings is infinite, yet it seems that only a few here truly grasp the depth of this reality.

We must face these questions with honesty and courage. I, Lay Practitioner Huang Nianzu, am waiting here. I am waiting for a courageous soul, a person of true resolve who is willing to give of themselves and face the Truth directly.

A Call for a Courageous Soul

I am calling for those who will join us to help in the spreading of the Dharma. Lay Practitioner Xia Fasheng, as you reach the end of your life’s journey, can you truly find purity? Can you reach the ultimate goal? If you can see the Truth and understand it clearly, then you must act upon it. You must dedicate yourself to the True Teachings.

Here, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, the presence of Namo Amituofo is real. I am waiting for your response. I am waiting for you to help guide this ship of the True Teachings. If you can come, then come; if you cannot, you must still understand the urgency of this mission. I am waiting for the development of the Truth. Namo Amituofo.

Written by the hand of Lay Practitioner Huang Nianzu. This message was recorded by the Buddha’s disciple, Shi Faxi, who serves as the chief writer.
