The Steady Foundation of the Path
Groundedness is an essential requirement and a fundamental behaviour for anyone engaged in practice within the Buddha’s gate. In truth, this principle is not limited to the Buddha’s teachings alone. Whether one is engaged in various forms of spiritual cultivation or pursuing worldly knowledge, one must remain grounded to achieve true success.
Every single drop of the Buddha’s teachings offers a point of realisation. This is the original state of things; it is entirely natural. Consider the simplest acts of daily life: drinking a glass of water or eating a bowl of rice. Every single grain of rice and every drop of water contains the potential for profound insight. This is the original state of things; it is entirely natural.
Finding the Truth in the Mundane
Even a single speck of dust or a tiny particle can become a gateway to understanding. Everything is a manifestation of Causal Conditions, arising and ceasing in accordance with the laws of the universe. Whether conditions arise or cease, the nature of reality remains as it is. When you can reach this level of realisation, you will naturally attain meditative concentration.
For those of superior wisdom and sharp roots, a single moment of realisation can lead to complete understanding. In your daily life, you must remain grounded. You must work to clear and engage in Purifying , heart, and spirit, ensuring that your energy flows smoothly. Perhaps there is a blockage within you. If you persist in your practice, you may suddenly find that everything clears at once. In that moment, you see the full picture—you achieve the state of an awakened being.
The Stillness of Meditative Concentration
Because of this, you must be aware of even the most subtle details. If you are not grounded, you will fail to notice these minute aspects of your existence. If you miss these points of awareness, you miss the opportunities for . Therefore, you must continue to purify yourself and cultivate Goodness.
Awakening Through Subtle Awareness
By walking the path in a grounded manner, you will begin to perceive the subtle details of life. In this awareness, you will find the path to , eventually reaching the moment of full opening and an awakened being. Namo Amituofo.
