If your heart is truly in sync with Namo Amituofo, then Namo Amituofo abides within your heart. Namo Amituofo also abides at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. This is because the centre shares the same heart, the same vows, and the same actions as the Buddha. This is the path of Practitioner Su, who embodies this sacred unity.
The heart and vows of Namo Amituofo are directed solely toward the salvation of all beings. This knows no boundaries and makes no distinctions. It encompasses everything, including:
Every being is essentially a Buddha; the only difference lies in whether one is currently in a state of confusion or has reached the state of an awakened being.
The Forty-eight Great Vows of Namo Amituofo are each designed to ensure that all beings can be saved. When beings undergo purification, their original nature is revealed. The six supernatural powers are simply the natural manifestation of this original nature, which can be attained through the process of becoming an awakened being.
When your heart is empty of all attachments, you achieve clarity and the state of an awakened being. However, if your heart still harbours even the slightest trace of dust, it remains stained and is not truly pure. Therefore, purification is the most essential requirement for your practice.
When you purify your human body, your Six Roots become clear. You will then be able to perceive the facts of reality and see the truth as it is, without being deceived by the illusory nature of the world. If your body is pure and your heart is pure, then your spirit will also be pure. When your three hun souls and seven po souls are gathered in harmony, you will not fall into a state of . You will be able to enter higher spaces, and your Six Roots will naturally manifest in their clear and pure state.
You must understand that purification is an incredibly important aspect of your practice. This is especially true for those on the Pure Land path; you must be in sync with purity to make any progress. If you are unable to align yourself with this purity and instead drift far from it, it is because your heart is stained, making it difficult to reach the state of an awakened being.
If the dust of defilement is light, a gentle wiping is enough to cleanse it. However, if the defilement is heavy, the filth will accumulate, making it difficult to wash away. If you wish to cleanse yourself, you must engage in diligent practice. Therefore, you should be cautious from the very beginning. Do not wait until you are heavily stained to begin the process of removal. Only by maintaining constant purity can you continue to advance and expand your spiritual horizons.
Today, Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I hope that all of you can follow the path of Practitioner Su and engage in the Buddha-actions of saving countless suffering beings. The work of saving beings is truly boundless. No matter where a being may be, you can help them leave suffering behind and find happiness in the present moment. This is what it means to carry out the Buddha-actions in this world.
The performed through the is vast and limitless. It represents a profound breakthrough for the spirits involved and is the practical application of the vow to save all suffering beings. The Words of Namo Amituofo from Hsiang Kuang are one of the methods by which Namo Amituofo instructs all beings. Every method is equal, with no distinction of high or low. These teachings serve as a guide for your practice, a vital method for purification and becoming an awakened being, and a wonderful opportunity to save beings and guide them to rebirth in the Western Pure Land.
