's discourse, recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe, on the sixteenth of December, 2022.

The Endless Waves of Suffering

The suffering of sentient beings is vast and helpless, drifting like floating clouds and a light breeze through the heavens. They are carried away by the winds of , wandering aimlessly within the cycle of rebirth, searching for a place to rest their weary hearts. Yet, in the midst of this turbulent ocean of existence, they hear the name of Namo Amituofo. This is the turning point for every soul.

You must not forget this for even a single second. Let every thought be filled with Namo Amituofo, for Namo Amituofo is always by your side. You must realise your original nature, which is, in essence, Namo Amituofo. By manifesting this truth within your human body, you can engage in the same magnificent practice as the Buddha and work to rescue all beings from their suffering.

The Sanctuary of

The suffering of beings is truly endless, as they tumble through the ocean of karmic rebirth, unable to wake from their deep slumber. Namo Amituofo cannot bear to see this. Therefore, the conditions have matured for Practitioner Su to complete this mission. Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, transforming this space into a true temple where one can realise one's true nature and attain Buddhahood.

Through the power of the , the temple performs to save countless beings, continuing the work of salvation in this world. The fourfold assembly of disciples follows this path, advancing together toward the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. When the world is filled with such hardship, how can one find a way to leave it behind? The answer is simple yet profound: keep chanting Namo Amituofo in every thought.

The Unity of Buddha and Beings

The Buddha thinks of all beings in every thought, and when beings think of the Buddha in every thought, the Buddha is never apart from them. If you wish to follow Namo Amituofo and enter the Western Pure Land, the suffering of all beings will surely be saved.

You may ask, who are these beings? They are all of us. You are a being, I am a being, and others are beings as well. Every living thing on this earth is a sentient being. Each one of us possesses the original Buddha-nature; we are all Buddhas by nature. However, we have become lost in our own delusions, forgetting our true nature, and thus we are currently 'lost Buddhas.'

  • By chanting Namo Amituofo, the lost Buddha awakens.
  • By chanting Namo Amituofo, we transition from confusion to awakening.
  • By chanting Namo Amituofo, we move from wrong paths to the right path.
  • By chanting Namo Amituofo, we transform from impurity to purity.

When you chant the name of the Buddha, you are awakening your true self and walking the path together toward the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo.
