The Heart’s Return to the Original Home
Teachings from Namo Amituofo
The Call of the Original Home
What does it mean to return the heart? It is the act of turning one's spirit back toward one's true, original home. And where is this home? It is the of Ultimate Bliss. You, my children, originally resided in that home of Infinite Life and Infinite Light, where you could practise in peace and serenity. However, seeing sentient beings with karmic affinity suffering in this worldly realm, you chose to temporarily bid farewell to your Father. You entered this world to save these sentient beings with karmic affinity, hoping to guide them so they would no longer suffer and could instead enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The Mission of
Yet, as time passed, I did not see you return. Instead, I saw you sinking deeper into the vast ocean of . Seeing that you were powerless to leave this ocean on your own, I took action. It was at this moment that Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju and Practitioner Su appeared. I descended to this world to join them at Hsiang Kuang, a sacred sanctuary established to lead sentient beings with karmic affinity back to the right path. This place is a beacon, waiting for you, my children, to enter Hsiang Kuang, see Namo Amituofo, and be led back to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The Sanctuary at Hsiang Kuang
You may have the intention to return, but how is your practice? If you have not let go of your attachment to this current life, you will continue to suffer and sink further into the cycle of rebirth. I counsel you, my children, to let go of this physical body and to let go of the emotions and sensations that feel so real but are merely illusions. Everything you perceive through is a phantom. Your and are even more illusory. If you can truly practise within this illusion, you will become an awakened being and attain true freedom. With this freedom, you may come and go from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss as you wish.
Letting Go of the Illusion
This is possible because Namo Amituofo is truly present here. This place is, in essence, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, though the space is different from the one you remember. To return, you must keep your spirit pure and free from defilement. You must chant the name of Namo Amituofo with a sincere heart. Even though your physical body will eventually leave this world, Namo Amituofo will be there to lead you and all sentient beings. Remember that the spirit never dies; it will return to its original home. When your heart truly returns, you will finally enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
