The Human Realm and the Buddha's Path
Namo Amituofo's Discourse
Namo Amituofo's discourse, recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
The human world is primarily a place for beings who are reincarnated. Yet, it is also a place where Buddhas and Bodhisattvas return to the world to save sentient beings, navigating the currents of this world to guide us toward the light. These enlightened beings live among us, sharing the same space, yet the ordinary human eye often fails to recognise their presence or understand their true nature.
The Compassionate Descent of the Enlightened
Buddhas and Bodhisattvas see our endless suffering and vow to help us leave suffering behind. Because they witness our pain, they manifest various methods to save the world. In this -ending age, the spiritual obstacles of beings are exceptionally heavy. Without great power and a profound vow, how could one possibly save beings from such deep misery?
Namo Amituofo has come specifically to save us. If you have clear eyes and a discerning heart, you will be able to see and understand these acts of salvation. By following these teachings and learning from them, you can be saved. It is essential that you listen to these words of Goodness, see the truth, and have faith that Namo Amituofo has come to this world. Namo Amituofo truly abides at Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, working tirelessly for the benefit of all.
The Precious Vessel for
The Buddha's path is supreme, and it is a vow that can only be fulfilled while one is in the human world. The achievements of all Buddhas are rooted in their time in the human world; therefore, you must grasp the opportunity while you possess this physical form. If you practise well in the human world, you can become a Buddha and return to the world to save sentient beings.
The human world is a magnificent place because we possess a physical form. This body is a priceless vessel that must be used with wisdom. We are currently bound by the laws of and cause and effect, and the reality of impermanence is difficult to escape. We are constantly busy repaying debts, seeking revenge, or repaying a kindness. Our Body-Mind-Spirit is trapped in this cycle. When will we finally resolve this cycle of suffering?
True Cultivation and the Path to Buddhahood
Only by practising the Dharma can we understand the truth and stop creating negative causes that lead to evil consequences. You must learn to distinguish between the false, temporary body and your true, original nature. Through True Cultivation, you seek to return to your source. When one becomes an awakened being, the Buddha's path is achieved. This is the greatest purpose of our existence in the human world.
