The Buddha’s Manifestation for All Beings
Everything that belongs to the Buddha exists solely for the sake of sentient beings. The Buddha manifests in this world, appears in various forms, and acts within the Realm entirely for our benefit. The Buddha’s physical manifestation is dedicated to saving the world and delivering beings from suffering. By walking within the world and the Dharma Realm, the Buddha performs the sacred work of , taking upon Himself the suffering of beings to alleviate their burdens.
Through His teachings, the Buddha reveals the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, providing every being with the precious opportunity to find liberation, leave suffering behind, and attain rebirth in the of Ultimate Bliss.
The Compassionate Heart and Vows
The Buddha-heart is constantly and eternally connected to the suffering of all beings. Every action He takes is a manifestation of His desire to resolve this suffering. This is formalised through His vows, specifically the Forty-eight Great Vows. These vows are made with the singular intention that all beings may be free from afflictions and worries, and that every one of us may successfully leave suffering behind and achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The Radiance and the Sacred Name
The Buddha-light shines selflessly upon the entire earth, reaching into every corner of existence. This light is accessible to all, including the beings of the six realms of existence, the four types of sages, and all beings throughout the vastness of the Dharma Realm. Furthermore, the Buddha-name, the six-character name of Namo Amituofo, is spread throughout the world.
When you hold and recite this sacred name in accordance with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, you immediately receive the full power of the Buddha’s merits and virtues. This practice ensures that your wish for rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss will be fulfilled.
The Realm of Infinite Purity
The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a realm established by Namo Amituofo over five kalpas of diligent practice. It is a place of absolute purity and equality, where there is no discrimination and no selection; the Buddha welcomes beings from every corner of the universe. Once you enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, you receive everything the Buddha has to offer: the boundless merits and virtues of the Buddha, the infinite power of the Buddha’s vows, the gift of immeasurable life, and the protection of the Buddha-light, which shines without end or limit to illuminate the entire realm. This environment is perfectly designed to assist all beings who reside there in their practice, helping them to attain Buddhahood.
The Resonance of Practice and Transmission
There is a profound resonance between the Buddha and sentient beings. As long as your requests and your practice are in accordance with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, Namo Amituofo will fulfill your wishes. He assists every diligent practitioner to awaken to their true nature and attain Buddhahood as quickly as possible.
Once you have achieved this, you may then spread the Dharma and save even more beings, helping them to leave suffering behind and find rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the sacred transmission of the Buddha’s teachings. Namo Amituofo.
