The Inconceivable Empire and the Power of the Buddha-Name
An Interview with Venerable Sindri of the 680th Rank
Recorded on July 2, 2018
This interview was recorded on July 2, 2018, by the chief writer, Venerable Fa Jing, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. The speaker is Venerable Sindri, a being of the 680th rank who resides within a specific layer of space in the universe. He reflects upon the spiritual deliverance conducted by Practitioner Su, whose reached his realm to offer the light of the Buddha.
Venerable Fa Jing speaks: "Venerable, thank you for compassionately accepting this interview."
Venerable Sindri speaks: "Namo Amituofo. I am Sindri. I must express my profound admiration for Practitioner Su. Every day, his Body is breaking through different layers of space, and within every one of these spaces, there exist countless celestial bodies and planets.
The Boundless Reach of Practitioner Su
Today, the Dharma Body Chao Du has once again pierced through several layers of space. Among these realms, there is a planet that is truly extraordinary. Its size and physical form are remarkably similar to those of Earth, yet its colour is a translucent, ethereal purple. It is a self-illuminating celestial body that has existed within the universe for several million years. It is a sight that would leave any observer in absolute awe.
Within this planet, there exists an empire that has never before been discovered by outsiders, known as the 'Inconceivable Empire.' The population of this empire is small, numbering only a few hundred. Within this society, there are no distinctions of status—no kings, queens, dukes, or civilians. There is no division by race or faction; every single citizen is treated with absolute equality. All of them are actively engaged in the practice of Goodness, sitting in meditation within their own spaces, and 24/7, they take turns in teaching the Dharma. When a citizen speaks the Dharma, their voice resonates through the entire planet, allowing every sentient being within to hear the sound of these virtuous teachings.
A Universe of Goodness
This system of Goodness is something the citizens of this planet have collectively researched and developed over the past million years. They have created various sutras based entirely on the principle of Goodness. They are still constantly researching and refining these texts, driven by the singular purpose of passing this wisdom down to future generations.
It is as if this planet serves as a central hub for the transmission of Goodness throughout the universe. Whenever a cycle of time is completed, all the citizens depart from their planet to travel to other worlds with which they have karmic affinity, spreading these teachings. They strive to plant the seeds of Goodness and virtuous thoughts in every corner of the universe. The planets they visit are always within the same level of space as their own; they cannot enter higher realms, and those in lower realms are unable to perceive them.
The Impact of the Sacred Buddha-Name
The layer of space where the Inconceivable Planet resides is entirely inhabited by practitioners. Different forms of Dharma are exchanged and discussed here, and any method that is not rooted in Goodness is naturally filtered out by the environment. Consequently, this space is filled with the constant, 24/7 flow of virtuous Dharma.
When Practitioner Su performed the Chao Du to this space today, the citizens of the Inconceivable Empire were absolutely stunned. In all their millions of years of existence, no one had ever been able to enter their realm. Practitioner Su's arrival was a shock that reverberated through the entire layer of space. It was not just the Inconceivable Empire; every planet in this realm was shaken to its core. What surprised them even more was the six-character sacred name of 'Namo Amituofo' that Practitioner Su brought with him. They had never heard it before. They had no knowledge of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, for they had remained entirely within their own space, never venturing out. They were deeply attached to the Dharma they had developed themselves, believing it to be irreplaceable.
Although the citizens of this planet felt the and warmth of the Buddha-light, their intense attachment to their own ways made them reluctant to leave. They still wished to remain in their own space, continuing to study the Dharma they were familiar with. Therefore, they have not yet followed the Buddha-light to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Even though the Inconceivable Empire and the other planets in this realm do not yet fully understand Namo Amituofo, the sacred name of 'Namo Amituofo' has now been introduced into their space. The power and virtue of this Buddha-name will gradually take root, and when the Causal Conditions are ripe, perhaps these planets will undergo a transformation beyond anything they could have imagined. Namo Amituofo."
