Teachings from Namo Amituofo

The Boundless of Infinite Intent
The known as Infinite Intent manifests within the Buddha’s teachings as an endless stream of Goodness and marvellous methods. This state of being is not merely a concept but a living practice that encompasses the very essence of compassion and the Six Perfections: Generosity, giving of oneself without attachment; Discipline, maintaining the to keep the heart pure; Patience, enduring all hardships with a steady heart; Diligent Practice, striving forward without ceasing; Meditation, cultivating deep concentration; and Wisdom, realising the true nature of reality.
Infinite Intent embodies the profound vow found within the One Vehicle Buddhism: the commitment to save countless suffering beings from the vast ocean of suffering. To truly fulfil this mission, one must rely upon these endless, marvellous methods to refine and perfect oneself. Only by achieving this inner transformation can one effectively extend the hand of salvation to others, acting with the boundless compassion that the Buddha exemplifies.
The Direct Path to Liberation
Among the Four Great Vows, there is the commitment to learn all the infinite gates. However, the Dharma Gate stands as the most direct, convenient, and marvellous method among them all. This is because it is uniquely supported by the Buddha's of Namo Amituofo. Through this power, practitioners can quickly see their true nature and be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, thereby fulfilling the ultimate vow to save countless suffering beings.
Infinite Intent also represents the tireless, unceasing effort of the Buddha or Bodhisattva to teach and guide all beings. This is especially true when dealing with the stubborn and difficult character of those influenced by demon crowds. By harmonising infinite Goodness and marvellous methods with the light of Wisdom, one can effectively subdue demonic enemies and transform them into a path of subtle, profound Dharma.
The Fusion of Wisdom and Compassion
Infinite Intent is the perfect fusion of compassion and Wisdom. As a practitioner, you should encourage yourself to first seek your own liberation. By achieving success in your practice, you gain the capacity to observe the person’s potential and, according to their unique Causal Conditions, guide them toward the right path.
The Pure Land Dharma Gate, which relies on the two powers—your own practice and the Buddha's blessings—is the most excellent and marvellous method of all. Within this gate, the practice of chanting the Buddha's name is supreme. It is a method that suits all people, regardless of their capacity, and it is the most direct and rapid way to reach the goal.
Chanting Namo Amituofo to the End
There is no past, and there is no future; there is only the present moment. When you chant Namo Amituofo all the way, you are fully present in the light of the Buddha. This practice helps those who are currently chanting to focus their efforts, gain the strength of the Buddha's support, and ultimately attain Buddhahood and be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
