What is this light that shines without end? It is the light of Namo Amituofo. Because the Buddha-heart is boundless, this light illuminates all beings throughout the Realm. When we are bathed in this light, our dusty karmic burdens begin to fade away. Within this light resides the power of Namo Amituofo’s Forty-eight Great Vows. It is a light that mingles with the dust of this world to save all beings. It shines across the three thousand realms, reaching every corner where beings suffer. Upon receiving this light, their long-held karmic obstacles are dissolved, and the suffering of and the confusion of the mind are transformed into nothingness.
You must continue to nurture your connection to the Dharma Realm of Namo Amituofo, and continue to walk the path of the Fragrant Light alongside Practitioner Su. You possess a precious human body, and within it lies the light of your true self. This light of your true self shines infinitely. When the light of Namo Amituofo meets the light of the practitioner who is chanting, the two reflect each other in a display of infinite beauty. Everyone carries Namo Amituofo within their heart. Yet, we are often locked away by our emotions and the chains of confusion. By chanting Namo Amituofo again and again, you awaken the Buddha who has always been within you.
This infinite light brings forth a treasure of infinite value, and wherever it shines, beings are saved. Namo Amituofo is not in some distant place; He is near, right within your own heart. This infinite light enters the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. The Fragrant Light and the light of Namo Amituofo are one. The vow to save the infinite beings of the Dharma Realm includes even the smallest speck of dust. Namo Amituofo does not abandon a single soul, for everyone has the potential to become a Buddha. Even those who have fallen into the path of demons can be transformed when they receive this light. By letting go of the demon-heart and embracing the Buddha-heart, even the demon crowds are revealed to be Buddhas in the making. Namo Amituofo.
