Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Turmoil: Chinese Leadership and Sentient Beings with Karmic Affinity
In this world and in countless others, there exist infinite space, infinite Buddhas, infinite Buddha or , and infinite beings. Within this vastness, there are also countless demon and demon crowds. Each of these exists within this infinite expanse. How can one possibly calculate such numbers? They are truly beyond measure and defy all human attempts at quantification.
The Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre is a place where truly abides. It possesses a unique magnetic field that supports the aspiration to become a Buddha or a Sage. It is a sacred bodhimanda dedicated to this very purpose. If you can open your heart to accept and encompass this truth, you will realise that this sacred space is a manifestation of the One, appearing right before your eyes. In this world and beyond, the entire universe and the void are vast, yet they all merge into a single, unified whole.
Within this unified whole, there exist the infinite: space, Buddha or Bodhisattva, beings, and even the demon crowds. Wherever a Buddha is present, that place becomes a Buddha-land. In truth, all beings are originally Buddhas, and even the demon crowds are originally Buddhas. This is because every being possesses the Buddha nature within you.
However, because this Buddha-heart has become contaminated, the true self is covered over, and various evils arise. When the Buddha-heart is stained, the heart of a demon manifests. The process of purification is vastly different from the state of contamination. A heart that is purely clean and free from all evil is the true Buddha-heart; the slightest trace of contamination means it is no longer the Buddha-heart.
Where is the Buddha? The Buddha is present in this world and in all others. Even the dust motes and the molecules of the air are, in their essence, the Buddha. It is only because of the manifestation of stains that the Buddha nature within you is hidden, causing them to appear merely as dust or air. Although the space of this world and others may differ, the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way remain the same. They do not change due to the passage of time or the dimensions of space.
All beings within this universe possess the Buddha nature within you. Their spirits are unborn and undying, and they are all seeking an exit, a way to find peace for their spirits. In the Buddha-lands of this world and beyond, all Buddhas praise the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. They all join in praising Namo Amituofo, who is the ultimate refuge for the hearts of all beings.
If you chant the holy name of Namo Amituofo with a focused mind, you will be able to enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. When your diligent practice reaches a state of continuous, unbroken concentration, and you understand both the principles and the phenomena of the universe, you will achieve the state of an awakened being and the Buddha's path will be fulfilled.
