When the wind rises, it is a natural occurrence. When the wind disperses, it is also in accordance with Causal Conditions. Within your heart, you must maintain clarity. Whether things gather or scatter, all are subject to the law of impermanence. Do not let this impermanence become an obstacle to your practice. The law of Causal Conditions is the ultimate truth of our existence. To follow the and seek to rediscover your true self, your original nature, and your inherent nature—this is the greatest fortune and blessing one can attain.
Your only goal should be to see your true nature and never again be reincarnated within the cycle of suffering. May this be your vow for this life, and may you achieve it in this very lifetime. Students of Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, you must cherish the present moment with the utmost sincerity.
Do not dwell on how much you can personally gain. Instead, consider the countless suffering beings who are waiting to be saved. Do as much as you can, and do it with a dedicated heart. Simply proceed directly along the path! Never forget that you, too, are a being in need of salvation; by saving others, you are simultaneously saving yourself.
Within your heart, you must recognise that all beings are enduring various forms of suffering and are waiting for salvation. You must also acknowledge that you, in this very life, are one of those beings waiting to be saved. Since you have encountered in this lifetime, you must not let it pass by in vain. If you can follow the vows of Namo Amituofo, you will certainly be protected and supported by Him.
When you commit to this Ultimate Vow and practice, with the Buddha’s by your side, you will surely manifest inconceivable and magnificent states. This is the way to save countless suffering beings. The human body is precious, and through the practice of True Cultivation, you will certainly receive the blessings of Namo Amituofo and the assistance of your teachers.
The Dharma affinity of the students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is the most magnificent. It is truly rare to be able to hear, learn, and master the great Dharma that cannot be encountered in the outside world. You must be diligent, fiercely diligent, in saving yourself and saving others, in rescuing yourself and allowing the Buddha to rescue you.
In this age of the Dharma’s decline, the hearts of beings are difficult to understand, their intentions are hard to fathom, and their actions are difficult to settle. You must guide them onto the righteous path. You must never allow yourself to deviate into false paths or external ways. If you mistakenly enter a false path, then the hope of seeing your true nature in this life will be lost.
To practice and see your true nature, you must follow the Universal Principles, Truth, and the Right Path. You cannot afford even the slightest deviation, nor can you allow any obstacles, attachments, or impurities to remain. You must know that your true self is inherently bright, clear, and pure, without any obstacles whatsoever.
Therefore, students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, you must clearly understand your position and your role. You are those who can:
