It is my singular wish that Namo Amituofo may long abide in this world. His presence is the beacon that guides all beings, providing the essential education required to understand that the Buddha’s teachings are not merely a religion, but a profound system of education for the spirit. Through this guidance, we can come to understand the true nature of our existence and the magnificent potential hidden within our physical forms. It is through this understanding that we can truly appreciate the infinite merit of Namo Amituofo, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and the transformative power of chanting the sacred name of Namo Amituofo.

The Path to Eternal Well-being

I wish for Namo Amituofo to remain in this world to assist all people in their journey of learning the Buddha’s teachings and practising the Pure Land path. By dedicating ourselves to this practice, we can attain peace and happiness in this very life. We can transcend the limitations of the physical world, moving toward a state where we do not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die. This is the precious opportunity to secure our rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, ensuring that our journey toward enlightenment is both certain and swift.

The Technology of the True Self

Furthermore, I wish for Namo Amituofo to guide us in rediscovering our original nature through diligent practice and the purification of our body, heart, and spirit. We must realise that the human body is the most sophisticated technology in existence—a technology within technology. When we awaken to this truth and fully utilise this vessel, we can engage in the noble work of saving the world and rescuing all suffering beings. This is the true purpose of our practice: to manifest our inherent wisdom and compassion in service to all.

Spreading the Pure Land Dharma

It is my deepest hope that the Pure Land Dharma Gate and the sacred name of Namo Amituofo will flow forever through the six realms of existence and the ten directions of the Dharma Realm. I pray that all beings will arouse the Bodhi mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo. By doing so, they will fulfil their wish to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, whether through the direct guidance of Namo Amituofo or through the compassionate assistance of Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. We must ensure that the construction of the Pure Land headquarters continues to transcend all boundaries of nationality, language, and region, carrying the light of the Pure Land to every corner of the Earth and throughout the ten directions of the Dharma Realm. Ultimately, I wish for all beings to find the Pure Land that already exists within their own hearts, and in doing so, fulfil their aspiration to be reborn in the West. Namo Amituofo.
