The Power of Compassion: A Celestial Transformation
An Interview with Venerable Chang Gao
Recorded on July 30, 2019
Venerable Chang Gao, a dedicated practitioner who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, shares his profound insights into the nature of universal salvation. This interview, recorded on July 30, 2019, captures his reflections on the magnificent light of Namo Amituofo and the transformative power of Practitioner Su’s teachings.
Venerable Chang Gao speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Chang Gao. On the thirtieth of July, 2019, a brilliant light pierced the horizon, causing the very magnetic fields of the universe to shift in resonance. It was a moment of profound , both for me and for the entire cosmos. Even those who have attained the highest levels of cultivation and deep meditative concentration within the Realm have never witnessed a scene as magnificent as this.
The Radiance of Infinite Buddhas
The most honoured of all lights appeared, manifesting countless billions of transformation Buddhas right before our eyes. The Dharma Realm began to rotate with incredible speed. The Buddha-light and the sacred six-character Buddha-name—Namo Amituofo—poured into the universe, piercing through infinite space. At that very moment, the Western Pure Land manifested before us, and all sentient beings were drawn away by a powerful, compassionate force of attraction.
The universe, which had been filled with the echoes of ancient wars, was suddenly warmed and pacified by the auspicious peace of the Buddha-light. Practitioner Su led the Bodhisattvas of the universe in joyfully welcoming these beings. Everywhere the light passed, it shone brilliantly, bringing infinite illumination to spaces that had been trapped in darkness for eons. Such a grand and magnificent has never before been seen in the history of the universe.
The True Heart of Practitioner Su
Practitioner Su manifests the Buddha’s teachings through a human body, subduing the flames of the demon realms with a heart that is perfectly in sync with the Buddha. It is this sincerity that has moved Namo Amituofo to descend into this Saha world. Today, Practitioner Su is actively seeking to pass on this legacy—not merely the practice of Chao Du, but the ability to help everyone purify their true self and reclaim the great cultivation that lies within their own nature.
Every spirit in the universe is filled with gratitude. The wandering souls of the six realms of existence have found their way back to the truth, and the holy assembly can now attain a life of even higher spirituality. We who follow by the side of Practitioner Su have come to understand the true meaning of practice and salvation.
The Root of and the Nature of Beings
To view all sentient beings as equal is not a simple task. Myriad spirits have fallen into suffering because of their individual personalities. Beyond saving them, we must help them understand the root of their plight. The Dharma talks given by Practitioner Su can be heard even beyond the ten directions of the Dharma Realm, and each one serves to unravel the knots of one's personality.
The root of creating karma is, in fact, one's personality. Because one cannot endure a single moment of frustration or tolerate a perceived grievance, evil thoughts arise. When these thoughts are put into action, they lead to evil consequences, causing many to suffer retribution or fall into the Demon Realm. These are merely natural reactions and phenomena that occur when the human body encounters external environments; it is only the lack of proper education that allows these negative states to take hold. In truth, human nature is inherently good, and everyone possesses the potential to be a vessel for saving beings and becoming a Buddha.
Practitioner Su is the finest developer of this potential, guiding everyone to find the light of their true self so that they may help even more beings and live a life without regrets. The deeper your , the more you will be able to reclaim your true self. The Buddha manifests His compassionate power to save beings without limit.
Namo Amituofo."
