The human world is, in the end, nothing more than a fleeting dream. We often become lost in the illusions of our daily lives, yet only through diligent, practical cultivation can one truly awaken from this dream and leave it behind. How others behave is their own affair and their own karmic journey. What matters most is how you conduct yourself and the sincerity of your own practice.

The Rarity of the Human Body

Obtaining a human body is an incredibly rare and precious opportunity. The matter of life and death is not a game to be taken lightly. When you wish to listen to the Dharma, you open your eyes; when you do not, you close them. This fickleness of the mind is a great obstacle. Entering this space is merely an illusory experience, and you must awaken and rise above these dangerous, illusory states.

Establishing the Vow

If you do not understand the truth of reality, your practice will inevitably lack strength. If you truly wish to change your current situation, you must first establish a firm, unwavering vow. For your vows to become reality, you must exert consistent effort. You must advance through your own self-power, remaining steadfast and never retreating. Let go of your attachment to this physical body and dedicate yourself to serving all beings. Only then can you truly live out your vows and manifest your true nature.

The Path to Buddhahood

Walk the path with your feet firmly on the ground, one step at a time. Yet, always remember that all success ultimately depends on the Buddha's blessing. Only through this combination of effort and grace can the skills of this body be perfected. Achieving Awakening is not something that can be accomplished in a single day. By combining the Buddha's power with your own self-power, you will successfully attain Buddhahood and complete the Bodhi path.
