The Priceless Treasure of Prajna Wisdom
Teachings from Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju
Second Session of the Thrice Yearning Ceremony, 17 November 2019
Prajna Wisdom is the most precious treasure one can possess. It is the ultimate key to resolving the various forms of suffering that permeate the human world. When your is in sync with the , you will find that true understanding is finally within your reach.
Transcending Emotional Turmoil
When you are caught in the boiling pot of emotions, you must rely on your Dharma affinity to transform your state of mind. The Dharma Realm is vast, and all the myriad phenomena of the universe are born from the Dharma itself. To progress, you must actively push aside the clouds of confusion that obscure your vision, thereby dissolving the various karmic obstacles that hold you back.
The Path of Absolute Purity
Your spirit is naturally sensitive and aware, yet at this moment, it is covered in layers of dust, appearing dark and devoid of light. You must engage in a process of layer-by-layer purification. You cannot afford to let even a single speck of darkness remain, nor can you allow a single drop of impurity to cloud your heart. Even a single thread of attachment or entanglement will make it difficult for you to see the truth clearly.
The Treasure Within Your True Self
Understand that everything external is merely a form of pollution. Prajna Wisdom is not something you need to seek from the outside world; it is already present in your own home—your true self. It has never left you for even an inch. Your true nature is complete, containing everything within it. When the light of your heart shines brightly, it breaks through the illusion of impermanence.
to the One Body
By chanting Namo Amituofo until you reach the state of no-thought, your true self will manifest in a state of deep peace and wisdom. You will realise that all things are part of one body. In the state of , you can contain everything, and in the state of selflessness, you can embrace all beings. When you are free from form and free from attachment, the great treasure house of your original nature is finally opened.
