The Burden of a Historical Name

An Interview with the Spirit of Lin Biao, Former Minister of National Defence of the People's Republic of China

Recorded on May 18, 2026

This is a record of an interview with Lin Biao, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his life approximately 54 years ago. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa, on May 18, 2026.

Lin Biao speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Lin Biao.

I am the man known to the world as a Marshal of the People's Republic of China, and I was once the only officially designated successor to Chairman Mao Zedong within the Chinese Communist Party. It is true that at the time, I was viewed as Chairman Mao's 'closest comrade-in-arms,' but this was never my true intention. Many things, once one occupies a high position within the Chinese Communist Party and enters its Central Committee, are no longer within one's own control. Even if one does not wish to act, one must do so, or the result might be the loss of one's own life. For those of us who were founding fathers or high-ranking officials of the Party, we all possessed sufficient political intuition and keen sensitivity.

The Trap of Political Power

Therefore, when I was informed that Chairman Mao wished for me to fight alongside him, I felt a subtle, hidden resistance in my heart. I did not want to participate in something like the Cultural Revolution. Yet, I could not remain aloof. I could only 'appear passive within my activity, and appear active within my passivity.' I had to express my political stance of closely following Chairman Mao, while simultaneously trying my best not to offend any party. This was my mindset at the time. However, looking at the results, it did not achieve the effect I had hoped for. This was inevitable, after all; the Cultural Revolution caused too much damage to the whole of China and even the Chinese Communist Party itself. So many promising people and elites were persecuted, not to mention the many within the Party who were purged under the guise of the Cultural Revolution. The slogans of 'civil struggle and armed conflict' indeed gave rise to too many tragedies, and many people were driven to dead ends. For all of this, I, Lin Biao, bear an inescapable responsibility.

The Weight of Karmic Debt

I truly do not wish to carry such heavy karmic debt, but the human world is just like this. People, for the sake of this false body—to protect this temporary shell—even though they only have a few decades in this world, are willing to commit boundless sins to preserve their lives and personal interests. It is truly lamentable. The result is that one must suffer merciless torture and tribulation in the hells.

When will there ever be another opportunity to obtain this precious human body? That is impossible to know. And when one does obtain a human body again, how is one to repay the immeasurable and boundless sins one has committed? This is an even greater question mark."

Regarding the matter of control, one could observe that figures like Chairman Mao Zedong, Premier Zhou Enlai, and a host of other high-ranking Chinese officials viewed it as the utmost priority. They sought control over the nation, the people, the Party, ideology, and power itself. If something could not be controlled, they viewed it as a so-called danger factor. Yet, ironically, in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have seen that everyone—myself included—always thinks about controlling everything, wanting to achieve their own desired goals. However, in reality, one's own body is not governed by one's own soul, but rather by and demon crowds. This is truly shocking, but it is the absolute truth. It turns out that no one is actually in charge. If one truly wants to hold the reins of their own body firmly, the required approach is actually the opposite: one must thoroughly let go of the desire to control all external people, matters, and things. This is a truly subtle matter; the external manifestation and the internal state are often vastly different, even contradictory. It is much like an enemy who remains calm and unassuming—often, once such an enemy strikes, the force is thunderous. Conversely, those who love to boast often pose little actual threat.

The Illusion of Control and the Reality of Self

As it turns out, the one who can truly control their own body is the person who does not wish to control anything at all. Now that I have studied the Buddha’s teachings, I, Lin Biao, have realised that as long as there is a sense of self, it is not in accordance with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Only through can one be free from bias and evil. The issue of selfishness is a situation present in everyone, but it is not what teaches. We did not know that as long as a person is selfish, their body is effectively handed over to karmic creditors and demon crowds. In such a situation, the soul is no longer complete; it is either kicked out of or locked away in a space within it.

I have pondered: if our group of high-ranking Chinese Communist Party officials had known about this at the time, would we have chosen to let go of selfishness, stopped thinking about controlling everything external, and chosen to protect our own souls, or would we have continued down the old path? This is a thought-provoking question. After listening to the sutras and hearing the in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I believe the answer is that both outcomes are possible.

The Path to True Autonomy

If, after hearing the Great Dharma taught at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, one can accept the Buddha’s teachings and awaken, subsequently choosing to elevate their own spirituality and reclaim the autonomy of their body, then I believe such a person can be said to be in charge of themselves. Conversely, if one knows that the desire for control leads to a loss of self-mastery but still insists on not changing, then I believe such a person is no longer truly themselves; their state of being controlled by karmic creditors and demon crowds has already become extremely severe.

Was I, Lin Biao, among the former or the latter during my life? I was once the former, but at that time, I did not have the to know of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Later on, I naturally became the latter; my actions and mental notes were already controlled by karmic creditors and demon crowds, devoid of any Wisdom or rationality.

Those who know the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way will certainly not dare to commit sins, because the Law of Cause and Effect is also one of the universal principles. Every action and every consequence is not in vain; whatever cause one plants, one will reap the corresponding fruit. This is a truth that is real and unfailing. It turns out that by controlling others, one is controlled in return. From this perspective, if one truly wishes for their own well-being, one must truly forget oneself completely. Think only of others, not of yourself; by planting the good cause of benefiting others, one will naturally reap the good fruit of benefiting oneself.

The Great Deliverance Across China

Currently, Practitioner Su is conducting a great Chao Du in China. Immeasurable and boundless suffering beings are being saved as Practitioner Su leads Amitabha Buddha to shine the Twelve Lights. When the Twelve Lights of Amitabha Buddha illuminate the entirety of China, spirits across immeasurable and boundless spaces are able to depart. Whether they are souls within the physical world—wishing to be as free as the wind, mountains & rivers—flowers, plants, trees, animals, insects, or even those among the clouds, all are saved as a result.

What moves me the most is that the spirits within the countless battlefield spaces of Chinese history have also obtained deliverance. These spirits in the spaces of war have been suffering and enduring hardship in those spaces, unable to leave. I saw that when the spaces were opened, every one of them was in great pain; upon seeing the bright Buddha-light, they swarmed out, crazily rushing into the light to seek salvation.

I was deeply moved, yet I felt a dull ache in my heart. I was moved because these suffering spirits were saved; I felt a dull ache because the cruelty of war is not limited to the ongoing battles themselves. Beyond the killing, chaos, and the many casualties during the war, I discovered that after the wars ended, there were still countless spirits who had suffered at the time, still trapped in those war spaces, unable to leave and continuously suffering retribution. This truly pains me, for I myself participated in countless wars in the past and harmed countless lives. If that is the case, could it be that many of the people affected at the time are still trapped in those war spaces, suffering and enduring hardship? This is truly too cruel. Now, I only hope that they can be saved and depart because of the great Chao Du conducted by Practitioner Su in China.

The Transformation of the Demon Crowds

In addition to the spirits in the war spaces and the spaces of all things, many lonely wandering spirits have also been saved through Practitioner Su’s Chao Du. Most noteworthy among them are the so-called demon crowds. The number and the range of demon crowds in China can be described as immeasurable and boundless. When Practitioner Su led Amitabha Buddha to conduct the Chao Du in China, so many of these demon crowds were saved due to the Being bathed in Buddha light. For the demon crowds, this is a very fortunate thing, a great good, because they have been sent to the Western Land of Dharma Nature and have been given the opportunity to be reborn.

As for the people of China, because these massive numbers of demon crowds have been sent by Practitioner Su to the Western Land of Dharma Nature, their Body-Mind-Spirit can become increasingly pure and clear. The reason is that demon crowds interfere with and even control people’s thoughts and behaviours. With the significant reduction in the number of demon crowds in China, this is of immense help to the people living on this land.

Reflections on a Life of War

War is a foolish thing; this is something I, Lin Biao, can affirm now. Yet, during my life, I participated in countless wars. One could say it was beyond my control, or one could say I wanted to achieve my own goals through them. Regardless, as long as life is harmed, it is a wrong thing. This is something I can affirm now, because as long as negative is created, one must taste the bitter fruit of negative retribution. This is the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way; it does not deviate by even a fraction.

Looking at the five thousand, or even ten thousand years of Chinese history, it is true that war seems to be an indispensable thing. Countless dynasties have risen in war and perished in war. The five-thousand-year history of China can indeed be said to be interwoven with countless wars, and every single war represents the death of countless lives.

Why exactly do wars occur? In reality, it is nothing more than the opposition between people or the collision between different positions; it is always for the sake of achieving a specific goal for one’s own side or for the satisfaction of interests. When the other side is deemed an obstacle, one chooses to use war to eliminate them.

Demon crowds and war are actually closely related; this is something I, Lin Biao, only understood after arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I can clearly see that wherever there is war, there is the presence of demon crowds; it can also be said that all wars are formed under the interference and control of demon crowds.

At this moment, I can see that when I served as a military commander, I was already possessed and controlled by countless demon crowds. I never imagined that as I won battle after battle and annihilated countless enemy troops, many vengeful spirits who had been harmed were orbiting around me. It can be said that even then, I was no longer in charge of myself; it was the demon crowds and karmic creditors who were in charge.

For a long time, I had great confidence in commanding battles. I could hold all the details of the military strength, status, and information of both my own and the enemy’s forces in my mind to conduct simulations. In terms of tactics, I had a great deal of room to manoeuvre, so the battles I participated in were basically more victories than defeats.

I did not have any particular hobbies, but what was special was that as soon as I thought about fighting a war, my whole body would be filled with energy, and I would feel very powerful. In the past, I thought this was entirely due to my own talent, but looking back from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, it is clear that there was much help from demon crowds involved. Under their intervention, my innate talent for command was greatly amplified.

Therefore, I was never truly repulsed by war; rather, there was a faint expectation in my heart. This was because it involved self-realisation; after all, I possessed such powerful command capabilities, and it was precisely because of these wars that I had a place to put my skills to use.

However, such a mindset had indeed deviated too far from the Right Way. Because of this, I was controlled by karmic creditors and demon crowds. The more lives I harmed, the less I could turn back. Most importantly, in terms of spirituality, I could no longer return to the relatively pure and bright state of the past, because too many vengeful spirits had come for me, and too many demon crowds had entered my body, controlling me. Just like that, day by day, I became less and less myself; in the end, I was entirely under the control of demon crowds and karmic creditors. Namo Amituofo.

Power struggles were indeed the central theme of the upper echelons of the Chinese Communist Party. Because everyone, in the process of climbing to the top, had offended far too many people and harmed far too many who held opposing views, once they possessed power, they exhausted every possible method to consolidate their positions. They knew deep down that only the power in their hands could guarantee their safety. If they were to lose their influence, both they and their families would suffer devastating blows. This situation could be seen directly in many high-ranking leaders of the Chinese Communist Party throughout history; many people, upon losing their power, saw their families persecuted as a result.

The Tragedy of the Cultural Revolution

The Cultural Revolution of that era was truly a colossal mistake. At the time, I was quite perceptive. When Chairman Mao invited me to join, he insisted that I participate in the meetings so that the Cultural Revolution could be formally passed and launched. I kept making excuses to decline, but as Premier Zhou Enlai personally came to clarify things for me, I had no way to escape it any longer. In the end, I had no choice but to participate in the meetings with great reluctance. And just like that, the Cultural Revolution officially raised its curtain in China. It was a tragic chapter in history, where countless innocent people were persecuted during this movement.

Among them, the Gang of Four led by Chairman Mao's wife, Comrade Jiang Qing, and the forces I, Lin Biao, led, were seen as the two major driving forces behind the Cultural Revolution at that time. Many people held opposing views regarding the Cultural Revolution, but they dared not disobey Chairman Mao's decisions, or perhaps they simply lacked the ability to resist. As far as I know, Premier Zhou Enlai was the same in this regard. The difference between him and me was that he was sufficiently clever and calculating; he could truly manage to obey Chairman Mao completely and execute every order the Chairman gave. Under such circumstances, Zhou Enlai indeed sat securely in the position of Premier, perfectly ensuring his own political status and power. He was always viewed as the second-in-command beside Chairman Mao, without any wavering. I had hoped to emulate his behavior in this regard, but to be honest, I truly could not do it.

A Pawn in the Chairman's Game

Under Chairman Mao's skillful planning, I knew I had been selected as a major force to support him during the Cultural Revolution. I did not agree with this decision, and in my heart, I felt a slight resentment toward the Chairman for pushing me into the spotlight. I had no interest in participating in such a role. However, given the political environment of the time, I was indeed the best candidate. I knew that after weighing all the factors, I had no opportunity to decline further; I could only stand firmly shoulder-to-shoulder with the Chairman and execute the line of the Cultural Revolution.

In truth, my body had already suffered great decline due to years of warfare in my early life, having harmed so many people. With the possession of vengeful spirits and the entry of demon crowds, my physical condition had already deteriorated significantly. This situation worsened drastically during the Cultural Revolution. Every year, so many people were persecuted due to the so-called 'civil struggles and armed conflicts.' These innocent vengeful spirits kept finding me, causing my physical health to plummet sharply. Later on, even when I was receiving the Red Guards alongside Chairman Mao, I was already barely able to walk. Yet, I forced myself to hold on, because I knew that once I fell, my faction and everyone connected to me would suffer severe blows. Although I did not want to play such a role, since I had been pushed to the forefront by Chairman Mao, I naturally enjoyed the benefits that came with it. That is to say, just like the Gang of Four led by Jiang Qing, the political power of the group I led was massively amplified during this process.

The Rise and Fall of Power

As the Cultural Revolution progressed year after year, the Gang of Four and the group I led could be said to be the two most powerful forces in the Communist Party at the time. Given that I had developed my base within the military, it could be said that from top to bottom, far too many in the army followed me; my influence grew stronger with each passing day. I knew that in politics, there are no permanent enemies and no permanent allies. Although I stood firmly shoulder-to-shoulder with Chairman Mao, I always knew that this was merely his way of using me; I was nothing more than a chess piece in the Chairman's hand. The point was whether I was willing to let him use me well, or if I would try to manipulate things from within. The path I chose was, of course, to align as closely as possible with the Chairman's direction. However, in this process, mistakes were inevitable. The error lay in the fact that as the Cultural Revolution developed, the power I represented grew too rapidly, causing Chairman Mao to become wary of me. Certain words and actions at the time told me, with my political sensitivity, that the trend of events was becoming extremely dangerous.

Although I began to have many plans in my heart, I had not actually made up my mind to do anything. However, the people under me—especially the military veterans who had followed me for a long time and the group led by my son—were deeply dissatisfied with the Cultural Revolution. Coupled with the various signs that Chairman Mao seemed to have reneged on making me his successor, they decided to truly plot an assassination attempt against Chairman Mao.

To me, this was not necessarily a wrong decision, because perhaps if it were me, I would have made the same choice. Unfortunately, the armed uprising and coup planned by my son were not mature, and there were flaws in the execution. Under the keen observation of Premier Zhou Enlai, it was exposed, which led to the subsequent chain of events.

As everyone knows, through a series of Causal Conditions, I boarded a plane with my wife and son to fly to the Soviet Union. During the flight, the plane encountered some issues, and we all lost our lives in the crash.

From Hell to the Western Pure Land

As for what many are curious about—whether this plane crash was man-made or natural—there is no need for excessive speculation. One only needs to understand that Chairman Mao's influence had indeed permeated the entire Party, and his charisma and appeal reached every corner of the Chinese Communist Party.

After death, my spirit entered the hells to undergo punishment. I experienced the brain-gouging hell, the amputation hell, the sword hell, the rain of swords hell, the freezing hell, the enema hell, and the heart-gouging hell; I went to so many hells, wailing and suffering in them.

Until one day, a golden light pierced through the space of the hells and illuminated me. I heard a warm and powerful voice calling out, 'Lin Biao! Lin Biao!' Just like that, in an instant, under the illumination of the golden light, I was brought from that hell to the side of Practitioner Su.

That was about ten years ago, when Practitioner Su already had the ability to guide deceased spirits to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I was very fortunate that after being saved by Practitioner Su, and with his help, I was successfully reborn and sent to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, becoming a resident there. Now, as a member of the holy assembly of the West, I am being interviewed by the temple's monastics, hoping to let more people know about my journey and to help everyone understand the importance of receiving Buddhist education.

The Value of Education and Moral Foundations

In fact, I often feel that the most important beneficiaries of historical data and various books should be the next generation—the children. Regarding education, I have always attached great importance to it. I also have great respect for the Confucian thought and the teachings of our Chinese ancestors. The various educational principles passed down by the Great Sage Confucius, in my view, have truly been of great help to the Chinese people. Therefore, during the Cultural Revolution, when I saw many classics being destroyed and even many intellectuals who revered Confucian culture being denounced, I was actually in great pain.

I truly did not know what I could do for them, and even to protect myself, I still chose to stand with Chairman Mao to firmly push forward the Cultural Revolution. This was a huge mistake in my life. The root of this matter lies in the fact that for the sake of this body, to protect this physical form, I was willing to harm others, hoping only to live better in this world and not be harmed. This was truly a very foolish thing to do.

Because the body is actually illusory and subject to impermanence; it is only borrowed for our temporary use. If one cannot use this body to 'use this temporary body to find the eternal truth' and practice, then it loses its meaning; there is no real significance in it, because everything created using this body will vanish with the demise of the body.

The Cultural Revolution caused great destruction to the cultural and spiritual heritage passed down by our ancestors, which is a heartbreaking matter. The most distressing thing is that the next generation did not receive moral education from a young age, and their concepts of propriety, righteousness, integrity, and a sense of shame, as well as loyalty and filial piety, have become very weak. Regarding the basic human ethics and moral foundations, many children do not have a clear understanding. If you see this, your heart will be deeply pained.

Now, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Center promotes Buddhist education, and one of its main purposes is to hope to save the wisdom-life of the next generation. This is great news for the world and for the people, and everyone must seize this opportunity. I earnestly hope that my fellow Chinese can come to learn the True Teachings taught by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Center. I hope that children can receive Buddhist education from a young age so that they will understand the basic principles of being human and, furthermore, understand how to follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.

The difference between this and the moral foundations taught by our Chinese ancestors is that Buddhist education not only lets people know the principles of being human, but also makes them understand how to live in peace with heaven, earth, all things, ghost deities, and even sentient beings, thereby gaining the ability to help suffering sentient beings. Namo Amituofo.

The key to this lies in keeping the heart pure and filled with Goodness. This means viewing everything with a positive perspective and intending only what is beneficial, allowing one's heart to remain in sync with universal principles, the Truth, and the righteous path. Under these conditions, one can avoid the crisis of spiritual attachment by external spirits and interference from demon crowds; this is addressing the problem at its root. If one's heart and actions deviate from these universal principles and the righteous path, the result is that one's soul loses control over the body, allowing karmic creditors and demon crowds to take charge—much like what happened to me, Lin Biao, in the past.

The Hidden Dangers of Modern Technology

Technology today is highly advanced and certainly offers many conveniences compared to the past. However, too many people fail to notice the interference from demon crowds that accompanies this technology. Many children become addicted to technological products and the internet, which in turn attracts a massive number of demon attachments. Once possessed, their character, thoughts, and behaviors undergo drastic changes, often causing immense harm to themselves and their families.

Ultimately, all the troubles in this world are caused by this physical body. Once we mistake the body for the true self, we end up making countless erroneous decisions.

The Wisdom of Self-Protection

The question of how to protect oneself is something most people must face, yet it is not easily achieved. When one's life or interests are threatened, it truly requires immense Wisdom to see through and let go, and to choose the correct path and follow it firmly.

What exactly is the correct path? What is the right direction? I, Lin Biao, now understand: it is the path of helping sentient beings. This is a path that will never lead you astray. This should be the grand principle and the primary direction for one's life, to be practiced with unwavering determination. In other words, if what you are doing, or even what you are thinking, is beneficial to yourself but harmful to others, then that direction is actually wrong; you should quickly adjust it to benefit others rather than yourself. If your actions and thoughts are helpful to others, even if it means your own personal gain is reduced, then that is the correct direction. If one can truly achieve what Practitioner Su has done—to be completely devoid of even a shred of selfishness and to act entirely for the sake of sentient beings—then one has the opportunity to become a Buddha. In the Pure Land Dharma Gate, this is the most simple, direct, and inconceivable method. The Buddha teaches us to chant the name of Namo Amituofo and to make the Ultimate Vow to save countless suffering beings. If one can follow these teachings, one can attain Buddhahood in this very lifetime. Practitioner Su is the best proof of this.

Reflections on Power and Corruption

Looking back at my life, now that I see the truth, I feel a deep yearning. After reaching the position of the only Vice Chairman of the Communist Party of China, how much did I truly do for the country and the people? I dare not say I did nothing, but there was certainly too much impurity in my actions. Most of my time was spent in political struggles and calculating power plays; it is truly a great pity. Once I possessed power, I did not use it to truly benefit sentient beings, but rather abused it to protect myself. Out of fear of losing power and fear of political purges, my heart had long been covered by the pollution of greed and anger.

The manifestation of this was the appearance of many karmic creditors, and the entry of numerous spirits and ghosts into my body because they were in sync with my mental notes. Even more terrifyingly, so many demon crowds entered my body and controlled me. This is the true meaning of what is called pollution of the heart.

The Power of the Buddha-Name

Those who hear these words, do you still dare to let your hearts be polluted? I believe you would not dare. In the Buddha’s teachings, even a single thought or a single deliberation is considered pollution and dust, which will attract external spirits to attach themselves to you. Therefore, the Buddha teaches us to hold firmly to the Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo and to replace all thoughts with Namo Amituofo. This is a most magnificent thing, for this Buddha-name contains all the merits of Amitabha Buddha.

If I, Lin Biao, could do it all over again, when I held power, I would have used every ounce of my strength to introduce everyone to the Buddhist education of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I would have told all my friends, relatives, and compatriots across the nation to chant Namo Amituofo together. Because this Buddha-name can truly solve all problems at the root; it starts from the heart and resolves the source of all suffering.

A Call to the People of China

Summarizing the mistakes of my life, as a leader, I thought too little of the country and the people and too much of myself. Perhaps this is the test faced by everyone in a high position: whether one can truly cast aside personal interests and dedicate oneself entirely to the country and the people.

After coming into contact with Buddhist education, I truly believe that every Chinese person should learn this great Dharma. It can truly help our spirits escape the suffering of the cycle of rebirth, and while still in this world, there is a great possibility of obtaining the true benefits of the Buddha’s teachings. That is what is called being ageless, free from illness, and having a spirit that never dies. This is not some ethereal slogan, but a reality that has been practiced and achieved by someone—Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

I am now in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. From here, I see the people of China, and I see that many are searching for inner stability and peace, hoping to find a reliable spiritual refuge in their lives of suffering.

I want to tell everyone that this refuge is located at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. If you come here, you will understand what the true Buddha’s teachings are and gain the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The True Dharma vs. Political Control

I know that the Buddha’s teachings are currently under blockade in China. By true Buddha’s teachings, I mean the True Teachings, not the Buddhism currently presented under the control of the State Administration for Religious Affairs, which is tailored to suit the political situation.

The True Teachings are those that can bring stability to people's hearts and, by the , Wisdom, and Goodness inherent in everyone's nature, allow each person to undergo a complete transformation. The greatest transformation, of course, is to ascend from an ordinary person to the ranks of the sages, and even to realise one's true nature and attain Buddhahood, thereby being able to truly benefit sentient beings in this world and save all boundless suffering sentient beings.

Under the current blockade of the Buddha’s teachings, I see many of my compatriots living in great suffering. This suffering is not necessarily a lack of material goods, but a lack of a stable refuge for the heart. Even if many compatriots live in material abundance, because they lack the support of inner light and are under the interference of karmic creditors, demon crowds, and various other spirits, they do not know how to handle or turn these situations around. Such conditions often leave many compatriots in a state of spiritual anxiety and even fear. In such a state, a strong sense of self-protection often arises, and even further, an aggressiveness toward others, which contains an extreme lack of personal security.

Now, from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I see this phenomenon prevalent among the Chinese people, and my heart is filled with sorrow. I understand that this is because my compatriots lack positive spiritual nourishment in their hearts. To be more specific, they lack the true Buddha’s teachings. Once the power of the Buddha’s teachings is infused into everyone's heart, it will be possible to truly resolve the suffering of every compatriot at the root.

This great Dharma is now at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. Because this is the temple where Namo Amituofo abides, the Buddha and Practitioner Su are currently working to save immeasurable and boundless sentient beings, which of course includes my compatriots in China today. I hope my compatriots can summon the faith to come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to see the Buddha, seek the Dharma, hear the Dharma, and thereby change their lives.

I am now in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, without pain or any afflictions, living a life of ultimate . Rebirth in the Western Pure Land is truly the most important thing in everyone's life, and I hope every Chinese compatriot will take this matter seriously. To be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, one must come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, because the teaching master of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, Namo Amituofo, is residing here.

I am now diligently practicing in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, hoping that I can attain Buddhahood soon and save immeasurable and boundless suffering sentient beings.

Gratitude to Namo Amituofo, gratitude to Practitioner Su.
