This is a record of an interview with Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his life and his journey to the Pure Land. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa Ru, on May 12, 2026.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I have resided in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss for over a decade. More than ten years ago, Practitioner Su guided me to the Buddha hall and delivered me into this Western Land. It was an experience that truly broadened my horizons. I had never imagined that there could be such a profound religion or such powerful beings in the spiritual realms capable of saving souls in this manner. At that time, my understanding of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and the world of spirits was far from complete."

A Revelation Beyond the World

"After I passed away, no one knew that in those final moments, I was enduring the agony of being shot. Although my life was filled with various hardships, what truly caused me the deepest pain was the knowledge that my mission remained unfinished at the very moment of my death. My body was still strong, and there was so much more I could have contributed.

The environment and society of that time had not yet stabilised. People’s hearts were filled with uncertainty, and there was no clear goal to follow. I was regarded as a spiritual leader, and I knew well that this was not a status to be arrogant about; rather, it was a heavy responsibility toward society and the people. Facing the religious conflicts of that era, I believed I could have continued to help the people of India and Pakistan, shielding them from the threats of war, death, and religious persecution. But my life was destined to end in that manner—it was not something I had foreseen."

The Struggle for Equality in a Divided Land

"India, as a nation, has suffered from deep-seated inequality and ethnic conflict since ancient times. After India fell under British rule, the Indian people were relegated to a lowly status. My heart was set on helping my people stand tall, to be filled with confidence in their own nation, and to ensure they received the basic respect they deserved. At that time, India was widely suppressed by the British government and ignored. The important government positions were held by the British, while Indians were treated as second-class citizens.

In terms of religious faith, the Hinduism and Islam practiced by the Indian people were viewed as inferior compared to the Christianity of the British. Most British people saw Indians as a lesser class, fit only to provide cheap labour, and not as people worthy of being treated as citizens of a nation. Consequently, Indians had few opportunities to enter politics or the central government; they were forced to accept second-class status, inferior treatment, education, and living conditions."

The True Meaning of Equality

"I participated in various social activities and protests, not to incite ethnic conflict, but to help people establish a fundamental concept of equality. In India, the concept of inequality was far too severe, so the pursuit of my life was equality. What I mean by equality is the 'equality of all sentient beings.' The reason I advocated for a non-meat diet was, in part, because I believed there is no distinction of high or low between different lives; one should not assume that humans are superior to animals and therefore have the right to consume them.

The reason I advocated for celibacy was that India suffered from severe gender inequality. The key to this was the desire between men and women, which led to a lack of respect for women. Celibacy can effectively promote equality between the sexes. I vowed to practice celibacy in my middle age, using this concrete action to advocate for gender equality. Celibacy and faithfulness to women were, in the same way, fundamental demands for equality.

Furthermore, abstaining from alcohol and eating sparingly were appeals for equality across different economic classes. Although my work and economic capacity were superior to those of the majority of India's impoverished population, I still believed that people should empathise with one another, reduce unnecessary luxury, and break the limitations of wealth inequality. Therefore, I took the initiative to abstain from alcohol and eat sparingly, even wearing very simple clothing. These acts, which resembled asceticism, were intended to help people understand that regardless of wealth or poverty, all people are equal."

In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have observed that for a long time, the development of India has been severely influenced by various religions and the cultural conditioning of British colonial rule. Even in the modern era, despite the rise of in various aspects, India remains in a state of severe division, whether in terms of wealth, religion, or the inequality of the caste system.

The Limits of Protest and the Persistence of Division

At the time, although I strove to eliminate these issues and hoped that people would attach importance to them, what I received in return was torture and interrogation. Even today, such phenomena still exist. This is sufficient proof that even if one uses political means or protests to awaken people to the importance of this status quo, the effect remains limited.

I can understand these deeply ingrained concepts. On one hand, they stem from the education provided by family and relatives; on the other, they come from the complex values brought about by schools and the broader society. These fundamental problems exist because there is no unified, complete curriculum or Buddhist education for people to learn from.

If one could promote and explain these truths in India, letting the children of India know the true principles by which the universe operates and understand the actual facts of reality—even if these principles are abstract and profound—the situation would be different. Everything is the way it is simply because true Buddhist education has not been promoted.

The Western Land as the Ultimate Solution

Although I studied Buddhism during my life, I never realised that it contained such incisive insights into the concept of equality. I had never imagined that the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is the very place that holds the key to resolving the conflicts of race, culture, and wealth.

This is not just about helping people immigrate to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss after passing away to enjoy incomparable equality and the view of oneness. More importantly, the concept is that one can build a Buddha-land in the human world while still alive. By making the construction of a Western Land of Ultimate Bliss the goal for people of different races, religious beliefs, cultures, and genders, we can help everyone learn and understand the view of oneness as early as possible. This would reduce conflicts and opposition between different groups and further decrease the unequal treatment caused by discrimination. These acts of discrimination are, in reality, nothing more than senseless provocations of conflict.

From External Protest to Internal Transformation

I did not understand this principle at the time. To truly protect the interests of the masses and ensure that people enjoy equal treatment, one must promote Buddhist education in the human world. Only by letting people truly learn such a Great can they make changes from the depths of their hearts, rather than trying to awaken people through struggle or protest. Of course, because of these actions—the non-cooperation movement and fasting—I did indeed attract people's attention.

However, with my own strength, I was unable to provide the masses with complete follow-up education or offer them correct goals for their life development after attracting their attention. I could only point out the problems and make people aware of their severity.

Yet, even if people understood the problems at a conscious level, subsequent development remained difficult to align with the universal principle, the Truth, and the righteous path. The core obstacle here lies in the fact that most people's understanding of virtue stops at empty slogans, and they lack a thorough practical guide on how to implement it in real life.

The Root of Habit and the Illusion of Willpower

Furthermore, regarding the subjects of spiritual growth and overcoming inner desires, without the guidance of Buddhist education, it is difficult to grasp a truly thorough and transparent solution. This leads to practice and improvement remaining on the surface. The status quo often evolves into relying on forced willpower or various external means to restrain one's behavior. This approach of treating the symptoms rather than the root cause can never reach or truly transform the thoughts and the root of one's ideas deep within the heart.

Among the many concepts I promoted—vegetarianism, abstinence from alcohol, honesty, integrity, virtue, and self-restraint—all were actually helping people avoid creating and avoid committing acts that harm others and society for the sake of self-interest and personal desire.

These concepts reflected many social and psychological problems of that time. Indeed, people generally engaged in many extreme and irrational behaviors for the sake of private desire, even causing harm to other groups, which is one of the reasons for opposition. Although I promoted these important concepts and practices through personal demonstration, they ultimately remained methods of practice within the human world.

The True Path to Overcoming Demon Nature

These practices can indeed reduce the creation of karma by human beings and significantly lower one's desires, but this is not the truly ultimate Buddha’s teachings. After learning in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I finally understood that a true breakthrough in practice does not rely on a single norm or standard in terms of phenomena, but on changing one's latent habits and character traits from the depths of the heart.

The most important key in this is to truly set one's heart on thinking for others, putting others first, and achieving a state of and selflessness. Without such a foundation, even if various standards are forcibly instilled, one cannot truly overcome the many desires and messy thoughts deep within. The root cause is this: if it is not done sincerely for the sake of others, these formal standards are merely requirements for external appearances. Only by re-making one's vows from the root and sincerely wishing to help others can one make a transformation from the heart.

Looking back on my journey, I also gave sincerely for others, conducting fasts and various activities to help people. Although my heart was as such, I neglected to manifest this fact clearly. I proposed slogans of virtues like non-violence, patience, integrity, honesty, and self-restraint, but these were not the most fundamental keys.

The true key is this: when a person makes various efforts for others with a sincere heart, they will naturally possess all the aforementioned conditions. These virtues should not be deliberately crafted, slogans of self-demand, or shackles and imposed upon oneself; these qualities are the true conditions that naturally flow out during the process of striving for others. Only in this way is it possible to truly overcome one's desires and the test of this so-called demon nature.

The Burden of Leadership and the Reality of Human Desire

I promoted many activities in my life and thus became a well-known figure in India, even regarded by the masses as a spiritual leader. I knew my responsibility was heavy, but I did not pursue this fame; because compared to empty reputation, if such a status cannot bring essential improvement to the people's lives, it is meaningless.

Even though Britain agreed to India's independence and my ideas were widely disseminated and accepted, in actual execution, people did not successfully overcome their many inner desires. Even though the masses knew the principles I demonstrated were to help them learn such virtues, when faced with tests, people still could not defeat their own desires.

Facing conflicts between different groups, wealth, and religions, people still chose to pursue their own interests and the interests of their groups as their goals. In fact, such goals provide no practical help to people; everyone lacks a true direction in life.

Therefore, I am quite filled with lament. Can the use of such protest methods as non-cooperation or even fasting really help everyone improve the problems of group and religious opposition at that time? This was one of the many tests in my life. Among these tests, I believe they were all processes that helped me see the suffering of the human world step by step.

The Truth Behind the Surface

In the course of my life's growth, I came into contact with diverse groups, religions, and cultures, and I learned about the differences between different groups. However, after reading a vast number of religious texts and the sutras of various religions, I gradually realised that these gaps are merely superficial and not real. I was determined to eliminate these oppositions and conducted a series of experiments to prove my philosophy.

It is a pity that people always regarded me as a political tool, a political means, and a political spiritual leader, without truly understanding the real meaning I wanted to convey. The root cause of all this still lies in the fact that when facing many ideas, no matter how good or correct the promoted ideas are, people still cannot overcome their own desires.

I did not understand why this was the case at the time. Later, when I arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and looked out, I saw that the people of India did not understand the universal principle, and I suddenly understood completely. The emergence of people's selfishness actually comes from the problem of acquired education. If there were education that could teach people true selflessness, purity, and goodness, then these selfish hearts and selfish thoughts and concepts would not appear.

This kind of education does not come solely from schools or books, but from everything a person sees with their eyes, hears with their ears, and encounters during the process of growing up—all of it is education for a person.

Therefore, the importance of environment and education will be reflected in whether a person can finally successfully overcome their own desires, and how serious a level of selfishness and ego a person will develop.

The Influence of the Spirit Realms

The results formed by these processes are also naturally proceeding within the laws of karma and cause and effect, but I originally wanted to improve such a situation. At the time, I was never able to effectively solve these problems. The root cause is that within the human body, there are actually many sentient beings controlling them.

At the time, I thought there was only one spirit in a person's body, but after arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, with a pure heart and clear eyes, I could see clearly that everyone on this earth is filled with immeasurable and boundless, countless spirits within their bodies.

When a person is just born, although these spirits exist, they do not affect the operation of the true self—the soul within . However, if one encounters wrong and biased concepts and wrong thoughts and desires arise in the heart, it will awaken the sentient beings within the body who possess the same desires and concepts. They will further strengthen and amplify such selfishness and desires, making a person's character and selfishness stronger and stronger, until it reaches a degree that is difficult to change.

In addition to the sentient beings within the body, spirits from the spiritual realms and external beings also control people, making them possess stronger character and selfishness. These external beings with extremely strong personalities are called demon crowds. They need to rely on people's selfish and strong personalities to obtain energy from the human body. When a person's personality is in sync with external spirits or demon crowds, they can even further control the person's body and obtain energy from it. Namo Amituofo.

Therefore, there exists a vast, immeasurable, and boundless multitude of demon crowds, constantly waiting for the right moment to induce people into having erroneous, negative thoughts, selfishness, or attachments to worldly things. These personality traits are the very avenues through which demon crowds operate; they are the tools used to control individuals and achieve the 'inner and outer coordination' with the beings residing within our bodies.

This also explains why, as people grow older, even if they encounter correct concepts and methods for change, they still find themselves unable to overcome their own personality traits and latent habits. Even after practicing various religions or Dharma methods—whether through spiritual cultivation, yoga, or various Hindu practices—they ultimately fail to break through the obstacles in their practice and cannot overcome their own desires.

The Root of Human Struggle

The fundamental reason lies in the fact that the general public has not received proper education from a young age. Even if many desires are suppressed on the surface, they are not truly severed within the heart. Under the constant control of spirits and demon crowds, most of the time, individuals are unable to be the masters of their own lives; they cannot truly use virtue and morality to restrain their own selfishness and desires. The reason I can see this so clearly now is that I am observing the beings of the human world from the perspective of a 'spirit' residing in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is a world that is incredibly clean, pure, and filled with virtue and infinite beauty. Here, there are no selfish thoughts and no desires; there is only pure spiritual self-elevation and a more profound observation of the suffering of all beings. Practicing in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss helps one cultivate a 'true heart'—a heart that is genuinely willing to help others from within, even to the point of sacrificing oneself and ignoring one's own for the sake of others. We call this the 'Buddha-heart.'

The Truth Within

This is also the truth mentioned in various religions; such a heart is the 'Heart of Truth.' Truth is God. In many religions, God is an existence that guides people toward the righteous path and a world of light, regarded as the supreme object of common reverence. However, the true God does not come from a fictional or imagined supreme existence; rather, it originates from the depths of every person's heart, appearing when each individual is truly able to let go of , overcome their own desires, and resolve to act for the sake of others. When a person can kindly embrace the various inequalities, disparities, and religious differences in the world, tolerate everyone's personality, and help others in the most pure and virtuous way, such a sincere heart is the true God in the world, and also God in the hearts of men. This power permeates the universe; it is an eternal principle, and therefore, it can be called the universal principle, the truth of the world, or the virtue and morality that people understand.

In Buddhism, this is called 'Buddha.' When the Buddha’s teachings say that 'everyone is a Buddha,' it refers to the fact that everyone possesses this morality and truth within their hearts, which is what we call the 'true self.'

The Veil of Illusion

Everyone possesses this true self, but it has been obscured. Because of incorrect education later in life, people are deluded by the illusory scenes of the world, giving rise to many evil thoughts and selfish ideas, which cause the God within the heart to be covered and unable to manifest. If one can accept Buddhist education and learn virtue and universal principles, one can naturally find the truth again and recover that true self which belongs to God.

This divinity has always existed in everyone's heart. It is the supreme power of the soul and the key that can truly master everything, thereby transforming and changing one's own karma. In fact, these principles are explained in different religions, though the clarity of these explanations varies slightly. It was only after I arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and studied under Namo Amituofo that I truly understood these most profound principles.

Looking back, it turns out that the doctrines and philosophies of various religions are not as superficial as people generally understand them to be, nor are they merely guidelines for spiritual instruction based on the short-term results of a single, fleeting life in the human world.

The Core of Religious Essence

The true core value of the Buddha’s teachings lies in spiritual elevation and the practice and study of the soul and spiritual power that can truly sacrifice oneself for others; this is the true essence of all religions.

However, I must also admit that without the clear and thorough teaching and explanation provided by Namo Amituofo, even now, my understanding of the core and principles of all religions would likely still be fragmented.

When I was alive, my understanding of these religions was limited to how to translate these abstract concepts into practical actions for people, or into a form of spiritual guidance that could be followed. But regarding true spiritual elevation and the core spirit of sacrificing oneself for others, I did not delve into them much during my lifetime. As for the extremely complex nature of the spirits within our bodies and the interference from demon crowds outside, I did not understand these things at all at the time.

Namo Amituofo, however, has explained these facts and truths very clearly, which fills me with great admiration and respect. But I also understand that since I can clearly see these facts and truths in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, Namo Amituofo, who built the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, can naturally understand the truth of this universe even more thoroughly, as well as the true secrets and appearance of the soul within every person.

A Mission of Salvation

Currently, Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are vigorously promoting this righteous path of truth in the human world, while also promoting education in virtue and the improvement of the human heart. Such a task is exactly what my true goal was initially, and they have even achieved a realm that I could not reach. This is because saving human beings is only one of the tasks Namo Amituofo has undertaken upon coming to this world. Most importantly, it is to help the wandering spirits of the world—souls with nowhere to go—so that they may have a home. Practitioner Su vigorously performs for various spiritual realms, helping all spirits to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, thereby ending their lives of drifting through space. This is something that has not happened for thousands of years.

Thousands of years ago, when Shakyamuni Buddha was born in India, there was indeed such a profound understanding, and a deep recognition of the spirits, human beings, and beings of all realms, thereby helping beings in the human and spiritual realms to awaken their wisdom and escape the sea of suffering. However, later on, as the Buddha’s teachings declined and various religions rose and fell, the core essence of religion and this true way of saving people and spirits was gradually forgotten. It was not until modern times, when Practitioner Su began to perform Chao Du for beings in all realms of the Earth and brought Namo Amituofo to lead the beings of the spiritual realms, that the core essence of the Buddha’s teachings was revealed once again, and the universal principles, truth, and the essence of the true God were truly manifested. This fills me with great respect, and I know that such an opportunity is hard to come by.

The Role of the Practitioner

From what I have learned so far, regardless of which true God, truth, or Buddha it may be, if there is no corresponding representative on Earth in the human world, then the God or Buddha cannot remain in the world to help people. This is because everything people experience, from daily life to the final birth, aging, sickness, and death, is the natural operation of the laws of karma and cause and effect. This originates from the past, immeasurable eons ago, and concerns the future, immeasurable eons hence. In this process, the Buddha is the universal principle and the righteous path of truth, and cannot interfere with people's karma. Only if a great practitioner in the human world resolves to save beings, and is willing to bear the suffering and karma of beings, can they truly help them.

Only such a heart, after being subjected to heavy trials, truly having no self, being entirely for the sake of beings, and being willing to sacrifice oneself and endure all kinds of suffering without retreating, can be called a representative of the Buddha. Only then can the Buddha, the truth, the righteous path, and the true God reside in the world.

At this moment, I must also honestly report such good news to everyone: because Practitioner Su in the human world has resolved to bear the suffering of beings, has endured much torment without retreating, has no complaints, and continues to save beings, the teaching master of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, Namo Amituofo, is currently residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. This is located in a remote area of Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

A Beacon in the Dark

However, because Namo Amituofo is residing here, this place radiates incomparable light all day long. For the beings of the spiritual realms, it can be called a lighthouse in a dark ocean, a ray of hope for everyone's salvation. Many beings in the spiritual realms also know about this and are waiting for the Causal Conditions to mature so they can come to the temple to seek Chao Du, or be saved by Practitioner Su's salvation team.

Practitioner Su's salvation team has been performing Chao Du for the world for over ten years. Each time, Practitioner Su leads an immeasurable and boundless number of salvation team members, along with thousands of billions of his own manifestations, to perform Chao Du all over the world and in every corner of the universe. This Chao Du involves inviting Namo Amituofo to shine light into various spaces, breaking the blockade of space, liberating the spirits within those spaces, and helping them enter the 'Western Land of Dharma Nature' at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. This Western Land of Dharma Nature is a transit station for going to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; it is a Dharma-Nature world formed naturally by the laws of cause and effect through the resolve of Practitioner Su.

In this world, the environment is filled with light, brightness, and the fulfillment of every wish: when spirits enter it, they no longer have to suffer in space and can enjoy incomparable comfort and stability. In the Land of Dharma Nature, one can listen to the teachings of Namo Amituofo and Great Master Xuanzang, as well as Practitioner Su’s Dharma talks. One can learn incomparably profound Buddha’s teachings from them, and after listening to the Dharma, one can also understand the importance of seeking rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. After hearing these truths, one can make a vow to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; at this point, one can truly and completely escape the six realms of rebirth and no longer have to suffer.

"Once I understood these truths, I felt an even deeper admiration for Practitioner Su’s ability to save the world and deliver sentient beings. After all, back in my time, I exhausted every ounce of my strength, yet I could not truly help people or souls escape the six realms of rebirth. But now, Practitioner Su, acting as the representative of , is truly able to help human beings and all spirits be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, allowing them to completely escape the suffering of the six realms of rebirth. This is truly the most ultimate and magnificent method. The beauty of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is not just that it is a world of ultimate equality and oneness, as I mentioned before; more importantly, spirits within it can be completely free and at ease, with every wish fulfilled. One can truly eliminate all interference from demon crowds, cast aside the invasion of selfish desires, and focus wholeheartedly on spiritual elevation—a level of practice that is difficult to achieve in the world."

The Ultimate Vow of Amitabha Buddha

"This is also the magnificent and dignified Buddha-land achieved only because Amitabha Buddha made an Ultimate Vow and spent countless eons practicing and accumulating merit and virtue. It is also because Amitabha Buddha has endured suffering on behalf of sentient beings countless times that the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss was established.

In this Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, everyone can sincerely use their heart to connect with the Buddha-heart, merging with it to elevate the purity of their own hearts and enhance the that truly considers others. By elevating one’s own compassion and spiritual level, one can more thoroughly understand the myriad phenomena of the world. One comes to realise that emotions, fame, career, and various physical needs are actually deceptive; they are the reasons why one’s spirituality is turbid and unable to be elevated."

A World Without Limits

"In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, there is no illness, no suffering, no limitations on lifespan, and no darkness—only infinite light. If you wish to visit other worlds or the universe, you can arrive with just a single thought. All the food, daily necessities, clothing, treasures, and housing you might need are all provided and readily available; they appear when you want them and naturally disappear into the air when you no longer need them. This is the ultimate magnificence and freedom.

When I was in the world, I never imagined such a beautiful and perfect world could exist. Yet, at this very moment, I sincerely wish to introduce the beauty of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss to people all over the world, and I especially hope to share it with my fellow Indians."

The Illusion of Worldly Pursuits

"In modern times, competition in people’s lives has become more intense, the pressure has become heavier, and desires have become harder to control. This is all because people are too attached to everything in the world, believing that worldly things are real, which leads to many pursuits and an inability to let go.

However, if one can recognise the beauty of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and know that there is a world more perfect than Earth, one should let go of attachments and pursuits in the world. In fact, the Truth, the righteous path, and the universal principles are the only ways to truly survive in the universe; the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is a world created based on these core concepts. The reason it is so perfect, allowing one to be so free and at ease without any constraints, is that the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is a world established in accordance with universal principles—it is a naturally occurring phenomenon.

Looking at people on Earth today, however, they are doing the opposite: they pay a huge price for personal desires and romantic relationships. They start wars and create hatred and opposition because of religious conflicts and ethnic divisions."

The Preciousness of Human Life

"These are all manifestations of the world being 'not ultimate,' and they are the results of the karma created by people in their past lives. Therefore, everyone should actively study Buddhist education, recognise Amitabha Buddha and the universal principles, and follow moral foundations in this world while taking practical actions to benefit sentient beings, so as not to waste this life in vain.

The human body is extremely precious. Once you lose the human body, you are just a 'spirit,' and the number of spirits in this world is infinitely greater than the number of humans—it is beyond counting. From this, we can see how rare it is to obtain a human body. Most of the time, sentient beings suffer various pains in space as spirits. Without Buddhist education, everything people pursue in the world will eventually lead to a state of suffering again at the time of death.

Therefore, learning the Buddha’s teachings is not only to help oneself, but also to enable the sentient beings one is connected to—those closest to us, such as friends, family, and relatives—to escape the suffering of this world together and truly be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the only way to not waste this life and the only way to do something truly meaningful for life."

A Call to the People of India

"The Buddha’s teachings once flourished in India and then gradually declined. There is a natural law to the operation of the Buddha’s teachings. But in any era, Buddhist education, universal principles, morality, and virtues are indispensable spiritual guides for people.

Because without the correct direction, people will be at a loss, only rolling in karma, thereby creating more sins and eventually falling into various spaces, or even falling into hells to suffer.

So now that we have Practitioner Su and Amitabha Buddha residing in the world, able to help the people of Earth relearn the Buddha’s teachings, I believe that people all over the world should seize this rare opportunity. As an Indian, someone who is recognised by many Indians as a Mahatma and considered the Father of the Nation, I believe I have an obligation to introduce the importance of the Buddha’s teachings to the Indian people.

I also hope that everyone can understand that the Buddha’s teachings are extremely rare. It is not a religion, but a very profound and supreme field of knowledge; it integrates the wisdom of all religions, all ethnic groups, and all schools. It has no language barriers or racial divisions; it is the truth and principle that humans on Earth should follow together."

The Path to Spiritual Elevation

"Only in this way can one truly improve their life and elevate their spirituality. Because from the secular level to the spiritual level, the Buddha’s teachings cover all aspects of life.

India itself is the birthplace of the Buddha’s teachings and the country where Shakyamuni Buddha manifested in the world. India possesses many precious Buddhist artifacts, ruins, and temples; the Indian people should not be unfamiliar with the Buddha’s teachings, which also proves that India has a deep affinity with the Buddha’s teachings. This time, the Buddha’s teachings have reappeared in the world in a new form, overcoming the language barriers of thousands of years, and appearing in a form that everyone can understand and read. As the people of India, the birthplace of Buddhism, you should be more active in contacting and learning this wisdom.

If you are interested, you can first search for 'Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia' on the internet to get a preliminary understanding. In the future, you can continue to follow the latest news and developments of the temple. In the near future, you can even come to the temple to participate in group cultivation and truly learn the wisdom of the Buddha’s teachings that people in the world should master.

This will not only help yourself but also help the sentient beings and spirits you are connected to, so that you can all be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss together. Only in this way can you truly stay away from the torture of various sufferings in the world, not waste this short life, and become a person who can contribute to the world. For Indian compatriots who have immigrated to all parts of the world, everyone actually has a very important mission. You are people from the birthplace of the Buddha’s teachings and are also the inheritors of the Buddha’s teachings; the heavy responsibility you bear is to promote the Buddha’s teachings to all parts of the world."

Seizing the Dharma Affinity

"In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have seen that Indians have a deep connection with all of humanity, and there are many Indian compatriots spread all over the world; this is the best bridge for the Buddha’s teachings to connect with the world. If you have the opportunity to see this interview, and can understand the importance of the Buddha’s teachings, you might as well take the initiative to contact and learn them. Once you understand the importance of the Buddha’s teachings, you will be important promoters in spreading the Buddha’s teachings to more countries and people.

For the Indian people currently in Australia, if you have an affinity with me and an affinity with the Buddha’s teachings, you might as well take the initiative to contact and get close to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. On this land of Australia, your Dharma affinity with Amitabha Buddha can be said to be extremely deep. Compared to people in other countries who still have to face visa problems, you can more conveniently contact the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre for a long time. You really should seize this magnificent Dharma affinity. In addition to learning the Buddha’s teachings and helping more people understand them, you must also pass the Buddha’s teachings to your Indian compatriots and people all over the world. You will be important promoters of the inheritance of the Buddha’s teachings to English-speaking countries.

Therefore, those who have an affinity with the Buddha’s teachings, I hope you can truly make a vow. If you can feel the suffering in life and know the inadequacies and imperfections of the human world, you might as well sincerely devote yourself to learning the Buddha’s teachings. Even if you maintain a trial mindset, it is okay to make contact; try searching for 'Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia' to understand. Even if it is just a few words, it will bring great help.

For many years, in order to introduce Amitabha Buddha to the world, Practitioner Su has actively delivered sentient beings from various spaces, broken through the obstacles of various demon realms, and continuously penetrated deeper into the demon realms, breaking through spaces that have existed for billion-billion-trillion years, only then being able to slowly expand the Dharma affinity to save the world.

And at this time, the Dharma affinity in India is gradually maturing. The interview with Gandhi is also a good omen for the opening of Dharma affinity, which means that the vast number of Indians have the opportunity to contact and learn the Buddha’s teachings. I am very happy about this development in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Relying on Practitioner Su to lead the salvation team to continue the Chao Du, we can have the benefit and salvation of Indians today; but this still requires everyone’s cooperation and the of Amitabha Buddha to truly turn around the Collective Karma of the Indian people.

Practitioner Su has a very deep Dharma affinity with India. Practitioner Su has been born in India many times, so Practitioner Su’s sincerity in saving India is naturally manifested. As for myself, I was once a practitioner in the Buddha’s gate and also came from the West, but I did not encounter the true Great Dharma, so it was indeed difficult to achieve the accomplishments that Amitabha Buddha and Practitioner Su have today.

I have indeed formed a deep connection with the vast number of Indians. Through this interview, I hope to awaken people’s awareness of their own lives. I hope to let Indians wake up from this and not miss the precious Dharma affinity that Amitabha Buddha, Practitioner Su, and I, Gandhi, have jointly facilitated. Namo Amituofo."

For the Buddha’s teachings to be successfully propagated and to flourish across this vast world, every single step is fraught with immense trials and tribulations. It is only through unwavering dedication and powerful, courageous breakthroughs that the light of the Dharma can be revealed to the people of this world, cutting through the darkness of ignorance. Therefore, I urge everyone to cherish this rare and precious opportunity, and to actively engage with the Buddha’s teachings with a sincere heart. I am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo and to Practitioner Su for granting me, Gandhi, this unique opportunity to share my reflections and heartfelt thoughts with the people of India.

Although I, Gandhi, have long departed from the human world and have gradually faded from the memories of the younger generation, my spirit and my vows remain as steadfast and vibrant as ever. My commitment to the truth and to the well-being of humanity has not diminished. As long as there is even one person in this world who remembers Gandhi, I will transcend the limitations of time and space, doing my utmost to provide guidance, comfort, and assistance to all who seek it.

A Vow to Serve and Awaken

This is my duty, and it is my fundamental responsibility. Having received the boundless grace of the Buddha and the salvation of Namo Amituofo, I have no way to fully repay such immense kindness. I can only offer my humble efforts to help more people awaken from the agonizing nightmare of this worldly realm—a realm filled with suffering and confusion—and guide them toward the path of peace and liberation.

I am deeply grateful to the fourfold assembly of the temple, and I am grateful to all those who share a karmic affinity with me. It is my sincere hope that one day, you will be able to come to the temple and meet with me in person. Let us walk this path together.

Namo Amituofo.
