Namo Amituofo’s discourse:
The history of China is vast and profound, spanning five thousand years of rich culture and tradition. Throughout these long millennia, countless famous figures have left their mark upon the world, shaping the course of events through their actions and influence. Yet, as time passes and their physical bodies return to the earth, one must ask: where do their spirits reside now? In truth, many of these spirits remain trapped within various dimensions, lingering in the shadows of the past. Through the boundless of Namo Amituofo, these hidden spaces are opened. This divine intervention allows those with karmic affinity to be rescued and brought into the -Nature Land of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre.
The Cycle of Rebirth and Suffering
From ancient times to the present day, countless beings have passed through the cycle of rebirth. Their spirits never truly die, and they remain subject to the laws of . When we interview these spirits, we uncover the stories of their lives and the reality of their existence after death. Regardless of their past achievements or the fame they once held, once the physical body is gone, they must face the consequences of their deeds. Their paths have been diverse and often filled with hardship:
- Some have fallen into the hells to suffer retribution for their past negative actions.
- Many have entered the ghost realm, where they remain to this day, lost and wandering.
- Others have become trapped in various dimensions, unable to find a way out.
- A fortunate few have entered the celestial realm to enjoy heavenly , often acting as guardians for the beings in the human world.
The vast majority of these spirits are found in the ghost realm, while many others remain stuck in stagnant dimensions. Those who suffered in the hells often return to their homeland after their sentences are served, only to find themselves lingering in these intermediate spaces for centuries. All these spirits possess the same fundamental nature, yet their paths have diverged based on their good and evil deeds.
The Compassionate Vow of Practitioner Su
Practitioner Su, moved by deep compassion, has made a great vow to save these spirits. Through the blessing and support of Namo Amituofo, the Buddha-light shines brightly across China. This light opens the dimensions where these spirits have been confined, allowing them to be liberated. They are then guided into the Buddha-light and brought into the Dharma-Nature Land of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Today, Namo Amituofo truly abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.
Entering the Time Tunnel of Memory
Practitioner Su’s great vow to save the spirits of China is being fulfilled through the twelve rays of Buddha-light. Using countless manifestations, Practitioner Su performs for immeasurable and boundless numbers of Chinese beings, guiding them into the light of Namo Amituofo. These beings are so numerous that they are difficult to count, flowing like a great river into the of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Although these historical figures are now spirits without bodies, the memories of their lives remain etched within their . When they are rescued and interviewed, they recount the circumstances of their lives and their experiences after death, as if we are travelling together through a time tunnel.
The Ultimate Refuge in the Western Pure Land
Within the Dharma-Nature Land, these spirits listen to the sutras and hear the Dharma. Their spirits finally find peace and stillness, resting securely within the Buddha-light instead of drifting aimlessly through the dimensions. Bathed in the radiance of the Buddha, they listen to the profound teachings of the Pure Land. They develop the faith and vows to chant Namo Amituofo and seek rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. By doing so, they elevate the quality of their spirits. In time, they will have the opportunity to follow Practitioner Su into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss—the final and ultimate destination for every spirit. Namo Amituofo.
