In this discussion, Venerable Changgao reflects on the profound capabilities of Practitioner Su’s in performing the sacred work of . This account was recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fajing, on December 5, 2022.
Venerable Changgao speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Venerable Changgao. Today, I wish to speak about the incredible, transcendent power of Practitioner Su’s Body. It is a power that defies the limitations of our physical world, capable of traversing the vast expanses of space to rescue spirits trapped within those hidden dimensions.
The Invisible Work of Deliverance
It is a profound tragedy that the human eye is incapable of witnessing these miraculous events. We cannot capture the process of Chao Du on camera, nor can we fully grasp the reality of what occurs in those spiritual realms. Because we cannot see it for ourselves, we are left to rely on these interviews and the accounts provided by Practitioner Su to even begin to imagine the scope of this work. It is a realm far beyond our ordinary perception, and thus, it is incredibly difficult for us to fully comprehend the nature of such a situation. We are like those who can only hear the wind but cannot see the air that moves it; we know the effect, but the cause remains hidden from our limited .
Practitioner Su has made a compassionate vow to save all beings. He uses this physical body as a vessel to assist those who are suffering. The beings in the spirit realms are often powerless to save themselves, trapped in their own cycles of misery. Practitioner Su, however, has remained steadfast in his conviction to save the world and deliver sentient beings. Through his constant and diligent practice, he has realised the Dharma Body, which possesses the unique ability to rescue these spirits. This attainment did not come from a desire to possess power; it was not a goal he sought to achieve for his own sake. Rather, it was a natural outcome of his selfless dedication. He did not practise specifically to obtain the Dharma Body; instead, throughout his journey of practice, his heart was entirely focused on the welfare of others. He offered his entire being, sacrificing everything, and ceased to cling to any worldly attachments. Through this gradual, step-by-step effort, he attained the Dharma Body.
Traversing the Layers of Time
Once Practitioner Su possessed the Dharma Body, he began to utilise it to perform Chao Du for spirits scattered across various spaces. These spaces are not merely physical locations; they are layered with their own distinct timelines and historical eras. They are stacked upon one another, creating a complex tapestry of different times and spaces. Yet, regardless of the era or the dimension, the Dharma Body encounters no obstacles. It can enter any of these realms with ease, reaching out to rescue the spirits trapped within, one by one, bringing them out of their suffering.
One might wonder: how does Practitioner Su even know of the existence of these spirits? It is a natural response born from his deep . It is much like how, when Practitioner Su walks past a ruin, he can naturally sense the spaces contained within that site. Even a single ruin can contain layers upon layers of space, with countless spirits trapped inside. At such moments, Practitioner Su employs his thought power to visualise these realms. Very quickly, he is able to use his Dharma Body to bring all these spirits out from the ruins, helping them to depart from those desolate spaces so that they no longer have to endure such agony.
The Intuition of Compassion
Then, there is the question of how Practitioner Su knows of spaces that existed a thousand, ten thousand, or even a million years ago. This is the true wonder of the compassion inherent in his Dharma Body. As long as Practitioner Su uses his thought power to visualise these ancient spaces, his Dharma Body can naturally enter them. The Buddha-light shines into these realms almost instantaneously, rescuing every spirit trapped within. There is no barrier that can stand in the way of this light.
From the moment Practitioner Su attained the Dharma Body until now, the number of spirits he has saved from these various spaces is truly beyond counting. Even today, he continues to break through new boundaries and advance further, opening up deeper and more profound spaces to rescue even more suffering spirits. His compassion is truly boundless, reaching into the deepest corners of existence to bring light where there was only darkness.
Namo Amituofo."
