The Heart as the Source of True Healing

People in the world often refer to me as a divine physician, yet I have never viewed myself as such. In truth, the essence of medicine does not reside in any miraculous medical text or pharmacopoeia. Instead, it lies in whether one can improve the character and heart of the patient. This is the true core of the healing arts. Genuine pharmacology, pharmacy, and medicine are fundamentally about healing the human heart. When I look back at my life, I realise that my medical practice was always a reflection of my own understanding of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.

During my years of travelling and practising medicine in the countryside, I reached a definitive conclusion: if a patient does not sincerely resolve to change their inner state, their illness is nearly impossible to cure at the root. If a patient is unwilling to transform their mental notes and negative thoughts, even if I were to force a treatment upon them, it would only trigger a strong rejection. In some cases, it would even cause me to manifest the same symptoms myself. I have encountered several famous negative examples, such as Governor Chen Deng and the Prime Minister Cao Cao. The case of the Prime Minister was a stern warning, and it was ultimately because of such entanglements that I lost my life in prison at the age of sixty-three.

The Unseen Shadows Within

After my death, my spirit left my body and entered the space of what one might call the divine physicians. As I travelled through the space of a thousand years, continuing to practise medicine, I was eventually saved by Practitioner Su and brought to the bright Western Land of Nature. It was only then that I truly understood that the symptoms I had observed in the past were actually manifestations of dark magnetic fields within the space of the cells and the influence of the beings within our bodies. These beings are not merely abstract concepts; they are real entities whose presence and state of mind directly dictate the health of the physical form.

I now realise that the Buddha’s teachings are the true method of the Great Physician, capable of prescribing the right medicine for the heart and addressing the root cause of illness. If one cannot resolve the predicament of aging, sickness, and death at its foundation, then no matter how skilled a doctor may be or how advanced their medical techniques are, their efforts remain limited in significance. I wish to take this opportunity to share these critical truths that have not yet been made public, so that everyone may gain a new understanding of the path to true health and liberation.

The Physician’s True Calling

The phrase 'the heart is filled with poetry and books, and the character naturally shines' describes me well. This 'shine' is the same character as the 'Hua' in my name, Hua Tuo, and it explains the root of my medical practice. While I am known as Hua Tuo, that was not my original name, but it matters little. I have used this name throughout my travels in later generations, and it has been passed down through history. I am more like a wandering knight-errant who walks the world to help others. My focus in healing was always to observe whether a person’s character was upright and whether they could truly bring welfare to society and benefit the people.

Although my treatments appeared miraculous and highly effective, the success of a cure depended entirely on the patient's character. Those with truly malicious hearts or evil thoughts could not be healed; in fact, their conditions often worsened. Those who were able to encounter me were usually people of genuine kindness and benevolence, who truly wished to save others. I studied many scriptures from a young age and deeply identified with the ideals of ancient sages regarding governance and service to the people. People often wonder where my medical skills came from. The answer is simple: true medicine is about improving the heart of the people.

The Law of Nature and the Great Physician

I eventually learned that if a patient is not willing to change, the illness cannot be cured. This is a strict law of nature. It is not that a doctor is omnipotent; one must respect the natural order. In the works of ancient sages, it is clearly stated that one must not act against the laws of nature. My fame grew not because my techniques were superior, but because I could immediately discern who was worth the effort of treatment and who was capable of change. For those who could not be cured, I often used subtle methods to avoid treating them. This is the key to my reputation as a divine physician that has remained hidden until now.

The cases of Governor Chen Deng and Prime Minister Cao Cao are prime examples. They were stubborn, and their illnesses were rooted in their own character. Even when I provided temporary relief, their habits and negative behaviours continued to damage their bodies. They did not understand the concept of or the reality of spiritual interference. They wanted the title of a 'divine physician' to cure them while they continued their selfish and evil ways. This is a path to self-destruction, and even a divine physician cannot save someone who is determined to die. I have seen many such cases, and it is a heavy burden for any healer to bear.

Namo Amituofo: The Ultimate Cure

Namo Amituofo is the Great Physician. In the past, I thought this was merely a poetic praise, but I now know it is a literal truth. The true cause of illness is the presence of these dark beings within our bodies. Only a Buddha, as the Great Physician, can resolve the conflict with these beings, helping them to leave and find a better place to go. This is the only way to fundamentally cure illness. Even aging and death are influenced by these spirits. The number of such beings within the body is beyond my current ability to measure; it is truly vast. When I was saved by Practitioner Su and brought to the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I realised that this space is far higher and more transparent than the space of the divine physicians.

In the bright magnetic field of the Dharma Land, my spirit became clearer, and I could finally understand the things I could not perceive before. I realised that the symptoms I once observed were caused by dark magnetic fields within the cells, inhabited by these beings. When a person’s heart deviates, it attracts these dark beings, which then disrupt the function of the internal organs. Namo Amituofo is the 'Universal Buddha.' When a being is ready to be saved, Namo Amituofo appears in that space, breaking through all limitations to rescue them and bring them to the of Ultimate Bliss. It is a great pity that I did not encounter the teachings of Namo Amituofo during my lifetime. I was too focused on ancient classics, not realising that the Buddha's teachings are the highest form of medicine—an education that heals the heart and transforms the spirit. I hope that all physicians who truly wish to help others will set aside their prejudices and study this Great Physician's method. The goal is not just to break through in medical technique, but to help people fundamentally escape the suffering of aging, sickness, and death. This is the true duty of a healer. Namo Amituofo.
