The True Meaning of Perfection

In the world, people often crave a sense of perfection. They view it as the ultimate reward for their efforts, a sign that their studies have borne fruit and their endeavours have reached a satisfying conclusion. However, within the Buddha’s teachings, perfection is not an end point. Instead, it serves as a gateway to a new beginning.

Realising one's true nature—becoming an awakened being—is the culmination of diligent practice and purification. Yet, this achievement is merely the starting point for the noble mission of saving beings. It marks the commencement of a profound new journey in your spiritual life.

The Precious Vessel of the Human Body

All of these accomplishments require the possession of a human body. Without this physical form, it is impossible to achieve such spiritual heights. Therefore, although the human body is ultimately a temporary vessel, it is of immense importance. You must cherish this opportunity and never treat it with indifference or neglect.

Harnessing the Energy of Youth

For those who are young, your bodies are filled with vitality and strength. This is an excellent time to engage in diligent practice. You have the capacity to be courageous and to advance rapidly, but you must also learn to subdue a heart that is light, restless, and easily swayed by external circumstances.

The Path of Letting Go

True success is not something that can be achieved overnight. It requires you to walk the path step by step, following the guidance of your teacher or a true spiritual friend. The most critical factor in achieving this success is the ability to let go of . You must work to release the various aspects of your personality and habits that hinder your progress:

  • Let go of the : greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance, and doubt.Let go of the : wealth, sex, fame, food, and sleep.Let go of the emotional attachments and obstacles that bind you to the world.

By releasing these burdens, you can move forward with focus and determination within the Buddha’s gate.

Walking the Path to

Only by walking this path one step at a time can you hope to reach the state of an awakened being. This is the only way to save yourself and others, to ensure rebirth in the , and to make the possibility of perfect achievement a reality. May you remain steadfast in your practice.
