's discourse:
The Inherent Buddha Within
In this world and others, there is nothing greater than the Buddha. Every being is inherently a Buddha, yet we are separated by our state of confusion or . Beings are originally Buddhas, but confusion arises and disturbs the heart. All phenomena in this world appear and vanish in a cycle of arising and ceasing.
Breaking Through the Cycle of Confusion
You must learn to see through and let go of all false appearances. By realising equality and oneness, you break through all discriminations. When you are natural, effortless, and without attachment, every thought becomes calm and free from ripples. This is the state of pure meditative concentration, and it is the state of the immovable true self.
The Immovable State of the True Self
You may ask, what is , and what is not? I am immovable in all places. Nothing can shake me; my heart is without ripples and without thought. I am at ease everywhere. This I is the true self, not the impermanent self that is reincarnated. Permanence, , self, and purity are eternal. The light of the heart shines infinitely across the universe. To be everywhere for the sake of beings is the truth; to be pure and flawless is true happiness.
Awakening the Amitabha Within
The Buddha’s words are a priceless treasure. Amitabha is here at Hsiang Kuang: A Sacred Sanctuary. I have been tossed about in the waves of impermanence throughout my many lives, and it has been difficult to understand. When will I find my true self again? Now, I have encountered Amitabha Buddha. With every call of Namo Amituofo, I am calling upon Amitabha, awakening the Amitabha Buddha within my own true self.
