The Purpose of Our Earthly Journey

Have you ever paused to consider why you have come into this world? What is the true purpose of this human life? When we examine our existence, we often find that we are here to settle the accounts of our past. If you are currently experiencing the weight of karmic debt, know that this is a result of past actions. It is a period of suffering, yet it is also an opportunity for resolution. You must be careful not to create new negative causes while you are busy settling the old ones. If you continue to sow seeds of discord or negativity, you will only find yourself trapped in a cycle of suffering, forced to pay back debts that never seem to end.

Perhaps you find yourself in a life of comfort and abundance. You may believe this is simply your good fortune, but even this is governed by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, as well as the laws of and cause and effect. You are enjoying the fruits of the good deeds you planted in the past. However, you must be wise. If you consume all your without replenishing them, you will eventually face hardship once those blessings are exhausted. A wise person understands this truth. When blessings manifest in your life, you should use them as a foundation to cultivate even more goodness. By practising virtue and accumulating merit, you are building the essential provisions for your eventual journey to the of Ultimate Bliss. This is the path of the wise, ensuring that your blessings continue to grow rather than wither away.

Yet, despite all their efforts, they could not find such a door. When their final breath left them, they were once again pulled into the cycle of reincarnated life. Where are those spirits now? They have been scattered by the winds of karma, lost in the vastness of the world.

If you truly wish to transcend this cycle, you must set your heart on the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. You must engage in diligent practice to rediscover your true self. When you have the certainty of rebirth in the Western Pure Land, you can then share this precious with others.
