The Fleeting Nature of Human Existence

To the fourfold assembly of disciples, the human body is precious, for it is the vessel that allows you to practise while you still draw breath. If that breath were to cease, what would become of you? Once you have passed away, your family members and fellow practitioners may gather to mourn and offer their support through chanting. Yet, after they have seen you for the final time, your physical form will vanish from this world. Your name will gradually be forgotten by those who remain, and your spirit will wander, not knowing where it will go next. This is the reality of a human life.

A Sanctuary of Salvation and Grace

At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, Namo Amituofo truly abides. This is a place of profound grace where you can perform for your departed family members and loved ones. Here, you may ask Namo Amituofo where a deceased spirit currently resides. Through the of Practitioner Su, these spirits can be saved. Once they are saved, they are guided into the Western Land of Nature. Following their own sincere wishes, they are then led into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the moment of their true salvation.

The Courage to Transform Your True Nature

When we speak of acting without delay, what is it that you must do? You must engage in True Cultivation. You must use this temporary, physical body to practise, so that you may rediscover your original, true self. You will inevitably face many obstacles as your manifests, such as:

  • Falling into a drowsy state and losing focus
  • The emergence of greed and desire
  • The rising of anger and resentment
  • The influence of ignorance and foolish actions
  • The manifestation of deep-seated personality flaws

However, as long as you listen to the teachings and follow them, as long as you truly wish to change your personality, Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su will all support the fourfold assembly of disciples. They will lend you a helping hand in your efforts to genuinely change, ensuring that your practice shows real improvement and progress.

Healing , Mind, and Spirit

At the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, even if your physical body has aged or become ill, you can still resolve conflicts with the spirits and invite them to receive Chao Du. By acting immediately, by serving the community, and by maintaining the vow to truly change your personality, you will see the aging process slow down and your illnesses fade away. This is how you stop the damage that aging and sickness inflict upon your body, mind, and spirit.

The Foundation of Daily Practice

You must be diligent in your daily practice, which includes prostrations, chanting the Buddha's name, and reciting the Sutras. In particular, chanting the Buddha's name is the fundamental skill of the Pure Land Dharma Gate. It is a wonderful method for saving yourself, reaching , and helping all beings attain rebirth in the Western Land. I hope that the fourfold assembly of disciples will put real effort into your chanting. If you value this practice and embody it in your daily life, the merit and majestic power of Namo Amituofo will be bestowed upon you. You will attain the state of , your meditative concentration will be successful, and your wish to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss will be fulfilled.
