The True Value of Every Moment
The preciousness of time lies in how we choose to utilise it. We must strive to ensure that every single moment—every instant, every second, every minute, every hour, and every day—is used to its maximum potential. How do we define this maximum utility? It is found in the act of:
- Relieving the suffering of all beings.Providing genuine help to those in need.Bringing lasting benefits to all sentient beings.
Because you are also a being within this cycle, when you work to relieve the suffering of others, assist them, and bring them benefit, you are simultaneously helping yourself. Both parties receive the benefits of the . When you have transcended the attachment to a separate self, every action taken to help others becomes a cause that transforms into the wealth of merit and virtue. Within this inexhaustible treasury of merit, you gain the capacity to benefit and save infinite suffering beings.
The Path of the
To be one who saves beings, you must possess a foundation of , merit, and the necessary skills to guide others. Only then can you truly influence and save those you encounter. You must be able to lead them to a state where they are sincerely convinced, where they develop faith, put the teachings into practice, and ultimately receive the salvation they seek. Just as the children of the Buddha trust in Namo Amituofo, if you follow the teachings and guidance provided by Namo Amituofo, you will certainly receive the benefits of the Dharma.

By doing this, you can achieve the greatest results in the shortest amount of time. This is the convenient and rapid shortcut, and it is the mark of one who truly knows how to make good use of time.

To know that Namo Amituofo has descended to this world and to be able to follow by His side is an opportunity that is difficult to encounter even in millions of years. Therefore, if you can face any situation with a calm heart and accept any test that comes your way, you are creating the opportunity to elevate the quality of your spirit and find your true self sooner. This, too, is the mark of one who knows how to make good use of time.
