is a state of profound stability. It is the gentle, unwavering intention to bring happiness to others and to help all sentient beings leave suffering behind. To be truly compassionate is, in essence, to be compassionate toward oneself. When your heart is filled with the richness of the , you naturally possess the capacity to give, to offer, and to extend your hand to those in need.

The Infinite Radiance of a Compassionate Heart

Even when you find yourself in difficult circumstances or facing your own challenges, a compassionate heart remains focused on the needs of others. You treat every being with a pure, sincere heart, hoping only to offer them genuine support. Even if the help you provide seems small or insignificant in the eyes of the world, this intention radiates warmth, light, and energy. When the recipient receives this, they feel a sense of , satisfaction, and comfort, allowing them to move away from their sorrow and pain. This is the true meaning of compassion.

Compassion is not measured by the quantity of what is given, but by the quality of the heart that gives. It is the act of giving without selfishness and without seeking anything in return. The only desire is for the other person to find happiness, to be free from suffering, and to have their needs met. One does not calculate the cost of the sacrifice or the scale of the contribution. Because this heart of compassion is sincere, pure, and priceless, the act of giving itself becomes invaluable. Whether it is the generosity of the Dharma, the generosity of wealth, or the generosity of fearlessness, all these forms of giving are truly beyond price when they arise from a heart of pure compassion.

The Sanctuary of the of Ultimate Bliss

Namo Amituofo, with a heart of unconditional love and shared empathy, created the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is, in every sense, a world of compassion. In this realm, there is no demand for repayment and no calculation of cost. The only wish is for those who enter to live a life free from worry, suffering, and vexation. Within the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, life is infinite, supported by boundless light and energy. Most importantly, Namo Amituofo is present 24/7, and the Dharma sound flows continuously. In such an environment, one can practice and eventually become a Buddha.

This Pure Land is not unique only to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is also accessible to those whose hearts, vows, and actions are one with Namo Amituofo. When a practitioner's spirit dwells in this same great compassion, their body and mind become a living Pure Land for all beings. They bring satisfaction, peace, and serenity to everyone they encounter, effectively creating a sanctuary of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss wherever they go.

The Living Compassion of Practitioner Su

This is why, when various beings—whether they are from the demon crowds or those suffering beings for whom Practitioner Su takes on karmic burdens—enter of Practitioner Su, they often speak of the same experience. They describe his body as radiating a brilliant light. Upon entering his physical form, they find themselves in a bright, luminous world. They experience a level of peace and safety they have never known before. They become so comforted that they forget the suffering they once endured, and they often become reluctant to leave, wishing to remain within the protection of Practitioner Su's body.

Practitioner Su's physical body has become a world of compassionate bliss because of his endless love for all beings. By embodying the heart of Namo Amituofo, he has created a sanctuary of body and mind. For the beings he helps, this is a world of compassion and ultimate happiness. It is a state achieved through his willingness to take on the suffering of others, providing them with the precious opportunity to find liberation and leave suffering behind. His heart is the heart of Namo Amituofo, his vows are the vows of Namo Amituofo, and his actions are the actions of Namo Amituofo.
