The Presence of Namo Amituofo

At this very moment, Namo Amituofo truly abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. Under the immense power of Namo Amituofo and the illumination of the twelve Buddha-lights, Practitioner Su is engaged in a profound mission. With countless manifestations, he is working to save the infinite spirits and demon crowds from five thousand years of Chinese history—and indeed, from the last ten thousand years of existence. These beings are being guided into the Western Land of Dharma Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Among them are many renowned figures from the annals of Chinese history.

The Timeless Journey

Through the Buddha’s blessings, the boundaries of space and time have been opened. We have been able to interview these historical figures who now reside in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. This is truly a visit that transcends the ages, bridging the gap between the past and the present. From these interviews, we have learned that whether they were emperors, feudal lords, military generals, poets, writers, high-ranking officials, or individuals of great loyalty and courage—and even ancient beings from the dawn of humanity—they all retain the distinct personalities they possessed during their lifetimes. Yet, they are now spirits without bodies, and everything they once knew has become a memory of the past.

The Reality of Samsara

After their physical lives ended, their spirits entered the cycle of rebirth. The reality of their journey through the six realms of existence is often harrowing:

• Many fell into the hells to undergo various forms of punishment.
• Others were reborn as animals or fierce beasts.
• A vast number entered the ghost realm, where they have spent hundreds or thousands of years living in darkness and misery.
• Only a small minority were fortunate enough to enter the heavenly realms as celestial beings.

This situation clearly demonstrates that while our physical forms change and transform through the cycle of rebirth, the spirit itself remains unique and indestructible.

A Sanctuary of Light

Today, these spirits residing in the Western Land of Dharma Nature are bathed in the Buddha’s light twenty-four hours a day. In this bright and serene world, they are free from all suffering. Their body, mind, and spirit have finally found a place of true rest. They are settled in the practice of listening to the sutras and hearing the Dharma, allowing them to understand the true reality of the universe. They now dedicate themselves to the pure practice of chanting Namo Amituofo, performing prostrations, and reciting the Sutras.

The Aspiration for Ultimate Bliss

Because these spirits have known such profound suffering, their desire to leave suffering behind and find liberation is incredibly sincere. Many of these ancient figures are now working diligently in their spirit forms within the Western Land of Dharma Nature. They have made the vow to chant Namo Amituofo and be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Through their sincere efforts and the Buddha’s grace, they will eventually see their wishes fulfilled and find their path to salvation.
