On this day, the twenty-fourth of April, 2026, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju offers these profound teachings to guide us on our journey toward .

The Heavy Burden of the

We must first understand the true nature of our physical form. This body, which we often cherish and identify with, is in reality a karmic body. It serves as a vessel where our gather to settle debts, seek repayment for past grievances, or return kindnesses. Within our countless cells and throughout our internal organs, there exists a multitude of beings. We are never truly alone in this physical shell.

As we grow older, our minds remain restless. Through our every thought and intention, we continue to generate delusions, discriminations, and attachments. These negative mental states act as a beacon, attracting more attached spirits to enter our bodies. Consequently, the number of beings residing within us accumulates over time. This is the hidden cause behind much of the physical aging and illness that humanity suffers. We see the symptoms of decay, yet we fail to perceive the underlying spiritual causes.

The Endless Cycle of Reincarnation

For the vast majority of people, life follows a predictable and sorrowful trajectory:

  • We live in a state of constant mental agitation.
  • We accumulate more karmic burdens through our attachments.
  • Our bodies begin to show signs of illness and degeneration.
  • We eventually succumb to the inevitable process of death and enter the cycle of being reincarnated once more.

This is the life of an ordinary person, trapped in a cycle that seems endless. However, you have now encountered the Buddha’s teachings. By learning from the Buddha, you gain access to his infinite , Wisdom, and virtuous capabilities. This is a rare and precious opportunity to break free from the control of and the demon crowds that seek to keep us bound to suffering.

The Path to True Autonomy

You now have the chance to reclaim your true self and attain Buddhahood. Whether you are a dedicated practitioner or an ordinary person, you must make a conscious choice about how you walk through this life. If you choose to walk alongside these beings in a state of confusion, you are effectively choosing to walk alongside your own karma. This path leads only to further suffering and continued wandering in the cycle of being reincarnated.

Now that the opportunity for liberation has manifested before you, you must grasp it firmly. Do not let this moment pass in vain. Only can truly assist you in this transition. You must learn to listen, to be obedient to the teachings, and to chant Buddha's name with a heart free from worry and obstruction. This is the only way to help yourself and others escape the control of karmic forces.

Walking with Wisdom and Grace

True practice is not about avoiding the beings within us, but about transforming our relationship with them. If you can diligently practise and succeed in your efforts, you will be able to rediscover your true self. Only then can you truly walk together with these beings in a way that is beneficial. By attaining your own liberation, you gain the power to help those beings connected to you by karmic affinity, guiding them out of the sea of suffering and toward salvation.

Be cautious and mindful at all times. Do not walk with these beings in a way that encourages them to seek revenge or repay grievances, as this causes harm to both parties. Instead, strive to give rise to all and achieve the fruit of . Only by doing so will you find the opportunity to transform karma and walk the path of light. Namo Amituofo.
