Words of Namo Amituofo:

My children, the weather has turned cold; you must add more layers to keep warm. Many of you have not encountered such a biting winter before. Now that you reside in this place, you must learn to adapt to the various changes within your environment. Temperature and climate are merely a part of this existence. As the seasons cycle through spring, summer, autumn, and winter, you must learn to flow with these external changes and adapt to them with grace and ease.

The Deep Chill of the Heart

How many beings are there who, when the weather turns cold, have no extra clothing to wear? Their bodies shiver, and this physical coldness often leads to a chill in the heart, eventually affecting their very spirit. Why does the heart grow cold? It happens because of resentment, blame, dissatisfaction, and a lack of support. When the spirit is affected, the three hun souls and seven po souls find it difficult to remain settled within . Because the heart loses hope, both the body and the spirit appear thin and fragile.

When you are cold, you must add clothing to keep warm; by raising your body temperature, you will naturally improve your current situation.

The Radiant Warmth of Buddha’s Light

If you can receive the illumination of the Buddha’s light, your body, mind, and spirit will be bathed in its energy and . This will bring warmth and hope to your entire being. It will uplift your spirit, quicken your steps, and allow you to focus your mind on completing the tasks that must be done. Do not let any external change disrupt your progress. Everything will unfold as it should, and your body, mind, and spirit will be able to accept any change without losing the stability of your heart.

The Inconceivable Power of the Buddha-name

The power of the Buddha’s light is inconceivable, and the merit of the Buddha-name is equally so! Please chant the Buddha-name with a focused heart. Whether you are hoping for the Buddha to emit light to guide beings, or whether you are seeking the various qualities of this light—Wisdom Light, Constant Light, Pure Light, Joyful Light, Liberation Light, Stable Light, Transcendental Light, or Inconceivable Light—know that I am always willing to grant the wishes of all beings.

However, you must let go of all worldly attachments and chant with a single, focused mind. Only then can you resonate with the inherent power of the Buddha’s light and fully activate the power of the Buddha-name. This is the blessing of the Buddha.

The Garment of Faith

If you chant but stop frequently, if your practice is inconsistent or scattered, or if you do not truly believe in the power of the Buddha and the Buddha-name, then the power of the name will be difficult to manifest. The Buddha’s light and the Buddha-name are the garments I have gifted to you to protect you from the cold. I hope that all my children can receive them, use them, and benefit from them. Do not suffer from the cold, from insecurity, or from a lack of support any longer. Find your reliance in me, and with a heart full of faith, energy, and strength, walk with the Buddha in the of Ultimate Bliss!
