Where Does the Heart Find Its True Home?

The Wandering Spirit

My dear children, where is your heart directed at this very moment? Does it have a true place to return to? Since time immemorial, your spirit has been drifting through the six realms of rebirth. In this world and in countless others, you have endured endless calamities and the profound sufferings of birth, aging, sickness, and death. You have been transformed countless times. Each time you have experienced birth, aging, sickness, and death, only to enter the next phase of life, this cycle has repeated countless times. Within the six realms of existence and across this world and others, you have formed karmic connections with countless beings. Good and evil karmic connections are intertwined within this existence. Where is the ultimate destination for your heart?

The Illusory Nature of Existence

Now, as you engage in your practice, you have the benefit of the teachings from the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, patriarchs and venerable masters, and true spiritual friends. Through their guidance, you have come to realise the truth of the situation: all your past experiences were merely illusory. Then, are you children still trapped within these illusions at this very moment? Yes, you are still moving through an illusory world. However, you must understand that this current environment is a necessary process on your journey toward awakening. Without passing through this process, you would remain unable to wake up, continuing to be lost in the maze of existence, unable to find the exit.

The Path to Awakening

While you are in this process, you can receive the guidance of Namo Amituofo, your teacher, and Practitioner Su at any time. Not only can you find the exit, but you can also provide your heart with a true home. Regardless of which realm you are currently born into, or where you find yourself, the ultimate destination for all beings is the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Namo Amituofo, the teaching master of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, at this very moment abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. He is always ready to lead those children who turn back away from their illusions and receive the grace of Chao Du. By following this path, you can:

• Leave the maze of confusion behind
• Find relief from the suffering of the heart
• Return to the place where you truly belong
