Teachings from Namo Amituofo:
My children, when you encounter matters that are righteous and true, you must proceed with unwavering focus and go straight ahead. Conversely, when you recognise actions that are incorrect, you must stop them immediately and refrain from engaging in them.
Defining the Righteous Path
What constitutes a righteous action? These are deeds that align with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. They include benefiting all beings, helping them leave suffering behind, cleansing -Mind-Spirit of defilements, assisting in the growth of one's true self, and elevating the quality of one's spirit until one attains the realisation of -nature.
Recognising the Path of Confusion
Conversely, what constitutes an incorrect action? These are deeds that lead to suffering and stagnation. They include prioritising self-interest, causing harm to other beings, acting out of selfishness, violating the , and engaging in activities that cause the Body-Mind-Spirit to become tainted or to fall into lower states of existence.
The Courage to Proceed
To go straight ahead is a profound expression of your spiritual character. It represents your sense of responsibility, boldness, , wisdom, sincerity, and the purity of a direct heart. When you possess these qualities, you can move forward without hesitation, regardless of the obstacles that may arise.
Consider the work of Practitioner Su, who serves all beings with a completely selfless heart. Whether in daily life or during a assembly, Practitioner Su manifests in countless forms to perform . Through these manifestations, innumerable spirits and demon crowds within the Dharma Realm are saved. This is the embodiment of going straight ahead.

If you have done wrong, you must stop immediately. This is the essence of changing your ways and the beginning of your purification. Only by ceasing negative actions can you find the opportunity to make progress in your practice. Therefore, you must go straight ahead.
The Perfection of the Six Paramitas
Always align your life with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. This includes engaging in Buddhist education, understanding the laws of and cause and effect, and deepening your knowledge of your true self, Namo Amituofo, and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. By doing so, you help people leave suffering behind and find happiness, allowing them to understand the cause and effect of good and evil, and to avoid the bitter consequences of negative actions.
To attain Buddhahood, you must practise the Six Paramitas of the Bodhisattvas: Generosity, Discipline, Patience, Diligent Practice, Meditation, and Wisdom. When these six practices are perfected, your path to Buddhahood is complete. You must go straight ahead, practising with sincerity and diligence, for the sake of attaining Buddhahood.
