This interview was recorded on February 27, 2026, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Lay Practitioner Yang Meihua, the grandmother of Lay Practitioner Liu Qiaojing, shares her testimony of being saved from the suffering of the spirit realm and finding refuge in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss through the compassionate deliverance of Practitioner Su.
Lay Practitioner Yang Meihua speaks:
". My name is Yang Meihua. I was once just an ordinary person living a mundane life, but today, I have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss—this magnificent world of the Buddha. Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are truly filled with such boundless . Ever since I entered the , they have been constantly assisting us—the spirits of the deceased from the human world. They have helped us settle down within the Western -Nature Land, providing us with the precious opportunity to quiet our hearts, listen to the sutras, and hear the Dharma. Through this, we have finally come to understand the true reality of the universe and human life.
They also frequently radiate golden light to help us with our purification. These are such incredibly rare and precious ; truly, such things can only be witnessed within the Western Dharma-Nature Land at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre."
A Grandmother’s Gratitude
"First and foremost, I must express my deepest gratitude to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su! I was just an ordinary woman—a mother and a grandmother who never performed any great, world-changing deeds. Who would have expected that, years after my passing, I would be able to arrive here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss? I am so grateful to my granddaughter, Liu Qiaojing. My dear, I saw your name on the list for . I also saw your grandfather’s name there. I never imagined that after the long, dreamlike cycle of life in the human world ended, we would all be reunited in such a miraculous way! It is truly extraordinary.
Grandmother is so thankful for your dedication, my dear. I hope you will continue to cultivate this sincere heart and keep working for the propagation of the Buddha’s teachings."
The Miraculous Reach of Practitioner Su
"It is only because Practitioner Su has realised his true nature and attained Buddhahood that the human world has the opportunity to witness so many inconceivable events! Recently, while staying in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, I have been watching Practitioner Su as he delivers his lectures. Many times, I have seen his countless manifestations covering vast stretches of the Chinese mainland. Golden light fills the sky, and countless spirits are transferred directly from that space into the space of the Western Dharma-Nature Land. Everything happens so quickly! It is truly beyond imagination.
The number of Chinese beings entering our Western Dharma-Nature Land is growing larger and larger every day. This is a sign that so many, many beings are finally being saved! We all chant the Buddha-name loudly to welcome their arrival."
The Path to Purification
"A small number of these beings appear a bit unhappy at first; I suppose they have not yet fully adapted to the environment here. But after being bathed in the Buddha’s light for a short while, every one of them recovers, becoming happy, satisfied, and peaceful. We each have our own lotus seat—this must have been a vital design feature implemented by Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su when they established the Western Dharma-Nature Land. It allows us to stop wandering aimlessly, to focus on our purification, and to settle our hearts so that we can truly understand the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Only then can we reach the day of our rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This experience has changed me profoundly; my heart, once so restless and agitated, has finally found peace and stability."
from the Human Dream
"Looking back, life in the human world was truly just a dream. I wandered in confusion as a spirit for a long time, and it was incredibly painful. I was often hungry and cold, and I had no way to receive the food or offerings others might have tried to give me. I simply suffered in silence. This is the reality of life after death, and I have lived through it. But I have walked out of that darkness now.
In this lifetime, to have encountered the Buddha—I, Yang Meihua, cherish this more than anything. I no longer think of other matters. I am now single-mindedly chanting the Buddha-name, embracing the day that I have finally arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am so grateful for the compassion of the Buddha, and so grateful for the compassion of Practitioner Su. I will certainly practise diligently here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and in the future, I will surely repay the Buddha’s kindness.
