A Message of Repentance from Venerable Master Chin Kung
An Interview with the Spirit of Venerable Master Chin Kung
Recorded at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, December 20, 2025
This interview was recorded on December 20, 2025, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. It features the spirit of the late Venerable Master Chin Kung, who now resides in the established by Namo Amituofo at the Centre. In this profound testimony, the Master reflects on his past misunderstandings regarding Practitioner Su and the Centre, and he issues a heartfelt plea to his disciples to seek the path of true deliverance.
Practitioner Su speaks:
"I respectfully invite Venerable Master Chin Kung, who resides in the Western -Nature Land, to provide teachings to the public. Master, Namo Amituofo is currently residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre—a blessing difficult to encounter in millions of years. We are currently preparing an introduction to the fact that Namo Amituofo is residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. Master, you are a wise person. Please provide your teachings to guide the monastics and lay practitioners of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies. Every person we can save is one more soul rescued. Master, I wish to lead you back to the Land of Eternally Quiescent Light. We must clearly bring the Buddha to the forefront; this is also your opportunity to repay the Buddha's kindness."
Venerable Master Chin Kung speaks:
"I am Chin Kung. Time has passed swiftly; it has been over three years since I left the human world. Today, I, Chin Kung, exist as a spirit without a body, residing in the Western Dharma-Nature Land at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. This place is a pure sanctuary of the Buddha in the human world, the very place where Namo Amituofo, the Teaching Master of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, is currently residing.
A Pure Land for the Spirit
The Western Dharma-Nature Land is a piece of pure land located within the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre; it is a pure land for the spirit. At this moment, residing here, I observe the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and all its operations. I am truly grateful that our compassionate father, Namo Amituofo, has come to the human world to save all spirits. At the same time, I feel comforted that Practitioner Su, though she humbly refers to me as 'Master,' has in truth surpassed me in her heart, vows, and actions to save sentient beings. It is truly a case of 'the student surpassing the teacher.' This is another achievement of the sixty years I spent lecturing on the Dharma and spreading the Pure Land teachings in the human world. This achievement cannot be described by words, nor measured by numbers. More importantly, Practitioner Su has taken on the suffering of sentient beings, enduring attacks from spirits and demon crowds upon her own body and legs to the point where her walking is hindered. This sincerity moved the Teaching Master of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss to descend to the human world and reside at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, where He has remained for several years now.
The Power of Compassionate Vows
Practitioner Su, sharing the same vows and actions as Namo Amituofo, has, under the Buddha's , established the Western Dharma-Nature Land. She has already saved immeasurable and boundless beings from the spirit realms and has subdued countless demon crowds, bringing them into the Western Dharma-Nature Land. Furthermore, an uncountable number of primordial demons have come to seek refuge in Namo Amituofo. This act of saving the spirit realms has been ongoing for years without interruption.
Practitioner Su's request for the Buddha to remain in the world—to keep Namo Amituofo residing in the human realm—is a ray of hope for the Dharma Realm, for the beings of the worldly realm, and for human beings to leave suffering behind and gain happiness, to be saved and reborn in the West. It is also a great gift that the Pure Land brings to humanity: to not grow old, not get sick, and for the spirit not to die, allowing for rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is waiting for those who have faith and hear the message to come and receive the benefits of the Dharma.
The Heart of a Practitioner
'The spirit realm is easy to save, but the human realm is difficult to save'—this was my lament in the past. Now, as Practitioner Su follows Namo Amituofo in actively saving the world and its beings, she shares this same sentiment. It is the true voice of one who has genuinely entered the Buddha-heart to save sentient beings.
Residing in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, there is one thing that weighs heavily on my heart. In the past, due to a moment of ignorance, I failed to realise that Practitioner Su was already capable of travelling back and forth to the Western Pure Land and had the ability to send deceased spirits who chant the Buddha's name to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I failed to recognise that Namo Amituofo was residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Instead, I excluded Practitioner Su from the system of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies, making her path in the Pure Land walk feel exceptionally arduous, leading to misunderstandings and alienation. I did not expect that everything Practitioner Su said and did was the truth. Consequently, I created the negative of falling into the hells after my passing. Later, I was rescued from the hells by Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su and brought to the Western Dharma-Nature Land at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This matter sounds inconceivable, but it is the truth. Although my body was cremated and produced sarira flowers, which serves as an affirmation of my sixty years of lecturing, it does not mean that my conduct throughout my life was without error.
A Call for Truth and Respect
Practitioner Su being excluded from the Pure Land system was my error of ignorance. To this day, although I have been gone for many years, this error continues to exist in the world. Over these years, I have sent several letters from the Western Dharma-Nature Land to clarify this matter, but I have seen no response from the Pure Land Learning College or the societies! Because of my error, the fourfold assembly of the Pure Land school has been unable to receive the benefits of the Dharma that Namo Amituofo has brought to the world—the gift of not growing old, not getting sick, the spirit not dying, and rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. What is important is that Namo Amituofo can lead the and spirit realm beings saved by the living to be reborn in the West. Through Practitioner Su's ability to freely travel to the West, she can lead all spirits into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I have seen this to be true from the Western Dharma-Nature Land, and I cannot help but praise the achievement of her practice. Most importantly, these achievements and abilities are performed under the blessings of Namo Amituofo, fulfilling the act of saving all boundless suffering sentient beings. This is the natural ability of one who has realised their true nature; it is absolutely not something that can be compared to the common psychics or spirit mediums of the world.
As I express my gratitude, I am given the opportunity to speak what is in my heart. This is also my repentance to my compassionate father, Namo Amituofo, for my past mistakes, while simultaneously expressing my gratitude to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for the grace of saving me from the suffering of the hells. Until the Pure Land Learning College and the Pure Land societies give Practitioner Su the respect she deserves, my spirit will continue to carry this burden and will not find peace!
An Invitation to the Centre
I hope that the fourfold assembly of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies can come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia to pay respects to our compassionate father, Namo Amituofo. The spirit realm has long known that Namo Amituofo is residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. At any time, one can see the centre filled with beings from the spirit realms, including celestial beings from the heavenly realms, sages from the Four Sacred Realms, and beings from this world, other worlds, and even other planets, all coming to seek Spiritual Deliverance, especially during the when Namo Amituofo leads the assembly. Yet, the human world knows so little. Especially since the fourfold assembly of the Pure Land system is spread across the globe, at this time—a moment difficult to encounter in millions of years—the Teaching Master of the Pure Land, Namo Amituofo, has come to the human world to save beings. I hope the fourfold assembly of the Pure Land school can come to pay respects and visit to receive the benefits, rather than staying away and continuing to suffer from illness, death, and the cycle of rebirth.
Do not let the skills of chanting the Buddha's name and the merits, virtues, and wisdom cultivated in this life merely become provisions for rebirth in the next life. Instead, may you receive the blessings and guidance of our compassionate father, Namo Amituofo, in this very life, allowing the magnificent vow of entering the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss to be fulfilled.
A Message to Venerable Wudao
Venerable Wudao, everything is proceeding according to the laws of karma and cause and effect where causal conditions align.
Wudao, Master has not died; only the physical shell has decayed, and the illusory body has been discarded. My spirit is now very much at ease. The six realms of the worldly realm exist in different spaces, and at this moment, the space where Master resides is the Western Dharma-Nature Land at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. This is the Dharma-Nature Land established by Namo Amituofo in the human world, providing a place of rest for the spirits saved by the Buddha, as beautiful as the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Wudao, please believe that this is what Master says! Beyond the perception of of , there are too many unknown things. During my lifetime, I was in a state of being difficult to encounter and difficult to believe. It was not what everyone—or even I—knew while I was alive. Because of this, I lost the magnificent opportunity to save sentient beings and to be reborn in the West myself.
More than three years have passed. Master is repenting in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, repenting for my ignorance at the time, for failing to believe that the Great Guide of the Pure Land, Namo Amituofo, whose body encompasses the entire Dharma Realm, had descended to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I lost the opportunity to lead the fourfold assembly of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies to pay respects to Namo Amituofo, to draw close to Namo Amituofo, and to help them improve the quality of their spirit and realise their true nature. More importantly, I missed the chance to heal illnesses, resolve suffering, and lead spirits into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Wudao, Master has handed the heavy burden of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies to you. These past three years have been difficult for you! Master asks for your help to complete something I could not finish while I was alive: go to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia to pay respects to Namo Amituofo.
In the past, I, Chin Kung, failed to go to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to pay respects to Namo Amituofo. I excluded Practitioner Su from the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies, causing the fourfold assembly to lose the rare and difficult-to-encounter opportunity to draw close to the compassionate father who had descended to the world. This could have helped beings resolve the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death, and fulfil the great vow of rebirth in the West. Namo Amituofo is the Great Physician! This is absolutely not just words for chanting during a Dharma assembly; it is happening practically at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. It can heal people's illnesses, heal the body, heal the heart, and resolve the suffering of spirits. I, Chin Kung, have seen this with my own eyes from the Dharma-Nature Land.
Namo Amituofo is waiting right now for Wudao to lead the fourfold assembly of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies to come and pay respects to Namo Amituofo, to join the Buddha and Hsiang Kuang in saving countless suffering beings, and to unfold the great vow of leading deceased spirits to the West and helping human beings leave behind the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death to complete the great matter of rebirth in the West.
Master is also waiting in the Western Dharma-Nature Land for Wudao and the monastics and lay practitioners of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies to come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, to bring comfort to Master's spirit.
Wudao, Master did one thing wrong, and that was saying that 'Practitioner Su is engaging in supernatural powers.' This sixty years of lecturing fell into a subjective misjudgment, and for this, my spirit has been punished after passing. This is the universal principle, the truth, and the right path. Master now sees more clearly in this spiritual state: Practitioner Su's abilities are not something that any external attached ghost deities could achieve; it is only through the blessings of the Buddha and the power of one's true nature that such inconceivable things can happen.
Having spoken of Practitioner Su in that way before, I should restore justice to him. For so many years, he has silently endured the slander, alienation, and indifference from monastics and lay practitioners, while continuing to learn and grow with Namo Amituofo. Practitioner Su's abilities are the result of his personal efforts; he deserves respect, reverence, and to be learned from. Therefore, you must stop blocking Practitioner Su immediately! This is no longer a matter of the relationship between monastics and lay practitioners, but a presentation of the truth and reality.
You should invite Practitioner Su to return to the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies. This is Master's unfulfilled wish. I hope Wudao can complete it for me, or even make this letter public. Only in this way can my sins be lightened and my repentance expressed. This matter concerns the great matter of rebirth in the West for the fourfold assembly of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies; the scope of the impact is far too great! Wudao, quickly lift the blockade on Practitioner Su, otherwise the will be too heavy to bear! Every word Master says is the truth. I hope Wudao believes it, is cautious, and acts quickly!
The compassionate Namo Amituofo has opened the doors of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and invites the monastics and lay practitioners of the Pure Land Learning College and Pure Land societies to return to the centre to pay respects to Namo Amituofo. This is truly giving the College and the societies a great deal of face and a way to step down. I hope Wudao will cherish this opportunity and act quickly! These are the sincere, heartfelt, and even pleading words of your Master!
Namo Amituofo.
