On September 27, 2020, during the , the of Practitioner Su travelled to the realm of the East Sea Dragon King to request rain for the drought-stricken regions of Goombungee and Toowoomba. This record captures the dialogue between Practitioner Su and the Dragon King of the East Sea.

The Dragon King of the East Sea speaks:

"I am the Dragon King of the East Sea. It is a rare honour indeed to have Practitioner Su personally grace the East Sea Dragon Palace with her presence. You have truly brought a radiant brilliance to our humble abode. My shrimp soldiers, crab generals, and all the ministers of the Dragon Palace have rushed to welcome you with the utmost respect. If there has been any oversight in our reception, I humbly ask for your forgiveness."

A Divine Visit and the Plea for Rain

"It was a sight to behold as Practitioner Su appeared before us, moving gracefully within the light, arriving with a gentle smile. I soon learned that Practitioner Su had come specifically to request rain for the Buddha-land of Goombungee and Toowoomba. I immediately examined the meteorological conditions for that region and discovered that, following the previous request for rain made by Practitioner Su, there remained a small reserve of rain that could still be released.

Perhaps we can arrange for this remaining rain to fall in the coming days. While it may only be a modest amount, it will serve as a small relief to the suffering caused by the water shortage. However, after that, we must wait for the beings in that region to sincerely chant Namo Amituofo. Only when the laws of and cause and effect are transformed through the merit of their chanting, and the power of their practice becomes manifest, will the conditions arise to fully resolve the suffering caused by the drought."

Gratitude and Deliverance

"Practitioner Su has also taken the opportunity to perform for the countless sentient beings within the East Sea, and on their behalf, I wish to express my deepest gratitude for the Buddha's grace!"

Note on the Deliverance

During her journey to visit the Dragon King of the East Sea, Practitioner Su performed Chao Du for an immeasurable number of spirits and aquatic creatures in the East Sea, including fish, shrimp, and crabs. Memorial tablets were prepared for their deliverance, and they have been guided into the Western Land of Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Furthermore, the Dragon King of the East Sea and the associated spirits were cordially invited to attend the Thrice Yearning Ceremonies. Namo Amituofo.
