The Sacred Morning Routine
At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, our daily practice begins in the quiet, hallowed hours of the early morning. At two-fifteen in the morning, the fourfold assembly of disciples gathers to perform prostrations to the Buddha. This is followed at three-oh-five by a period of walking meditation while chanting the sacred name of Namo Amituofo. This time is not merely a routine; it is a profound opportunity for spiritual connection, purification, and transformation.
During these early hours, Practitioner Su engages in the work of spiritual deliverance, known as . This period is a particularly auspicious time for the fourfold assembly to perform spiritual deliverance through visualization while walking and chanting. Namo Amituofo is always present within this space, manifesting wherever Practitioner Su and the disciples are working to save sentient beings. The Buddha is there to lead all those who have a karmic affinity with the temple toward the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The Mechanics of
When you perform spiritual deliverance through visualization, you must understand that everything functions through the true heart. The only motivation should be the sincere wish for all beings to leave suffering behind and find true happiness. You must approach this work with a vast capacity of mind, free from discriminations and free from wandering thoughts. This is the essence of pure compassion, aligning oneself with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
As for whether these beings will successfully enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, that depends entirely on their own . Within the laws of and cause and effect, every being has their own destination. However, under the resonance of the Buddha-name and the all-encompassing radiance of the Buddha-light, these beings are given the opportunity to chant the name of Namo Amituofo and attain rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, or at the very least, be reborn into the heavenly or human realms of goodness.
Guiding Beings to the Golden Light
During your visualization, you can communicate with these sentient beings through your mental notes. It is of vital importance to tell them clearly: "Chant Namo Amituofo and move towards the golden light." Your mental notes are never empty; as soon as the thought arises, the beings can receive it. Whether they receive it, and how much they receive, depends on two factors: the level of purity within the sentient beings themselves, and the sincerity and earnestness of the practitioner who is sending the message.
If the beings are willing to listen and follow these instructions, and if the practitioner is truly sincere and earnest in their heart, the number of beings who can be saved is immeasurable. This is the power of the Buddha’s teachings in action, manifesting through the collective effort of the fourfold assembly and the boundless compassion of Namo Amituofo. May all beings find their way to the light.
