Chao Du Never Stops: An Interview with Sangharama Bodhisattva
An Interview with Sangharama Bodhisattva
Recorded on 15 December 2020
The Call of the Western Land
During the assembly yesterday, a great number of sentient beings chanted the name of Namo Amituofo and attained rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Those who were unable to make the journey yesterday have rushed here today to seek the same liberation. A rumour has been circulating throughout the underworld, spreading rapidly among the spirits. It is said that if one wishes to be reborn, to leave suffering behind and find happiness, one must travel to the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia.
If one truly wishes to have absolute certainty in one's rebirth, one must listen to the Dharma. Only by listening to Practitioner Su explain the sutras can one truly understand what the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is. Only then can one comprehend what it means for all superior beings to gather in one place. The group of sentient beings that arrived today are all waiting to receive this coming Friday. They understand that they must first listen to the Dharma and make sincere vows to have any hope of success.
The Path to Certainty
During the Dharma assembly, it is essential that all participants focus intently on chanting Namo Amituofo. They must not attach themselves to the fourfold assembly, the Venerables, or Practitioner Su. This is because, throughout the proceedings, many Dharma protectors are present to safeguard Practitioner Su and all those who are participating. The primary purpose of listening to the Dharma is to cultivate a heart of great , just like the Buddha. If one asks Practitioner Su how to make vows that will lead to salvation, or how to practise so that one may achieve success, the answer is clear. Practitioner Su has often taught that one must take the Infinite Life Sutra (The Buddha Speaks the , Infinite Life, Adornment, Purity, Impartiality, and Sutra) as a guide and put the Forty-eight Great Vows of the Buddha into practice. One must examine the vows made by the Buddha in the sixth chapter and implement them one by one in their daily life.
I have observed that these sentient beings, through their diligent chanting, have reached a state where they can see the Buddha-light during the assembly. They are bathed in the radiance of the Buddha. Practitioner Su has also observed that among the sentient beings chanting the Buddha-name, some are unable to leave their current state. The reason for this is that they have not listened to enough Dharma. Even when they see the Buddha-light, they merely look at the light without understanding the vital importance of chanting Namo Amituofo to seek rebirth.
The Vigilant Protection of the Dharma
The appearance I, Sangharama , present is one of martial power and solemnity. When the sentient beings see me, they feel a sense of awe and fear. Even the demon crowds are subdued by my righteous energy, and they follow the proper order to ascend to the Dharma-Nature Land. The chanting team led by Practitioner Su, along with Venerable Chang Ren, Venerable Chang Gao, Venerable Yong Ning, and Jobs, are all constantly by his side. Wherever Practitioner Su goes, their figures are always present. The chanting team is united in a single purpose: to protect the only human Buddha Jewel in this world—Practitioner Su.
The Universal Bodhisattvas, the Milky Way Bodhisattvas, and the new Buddha-disciples are all extremely vigilant, arriving whenever they are called. The Dharma protectors use a powerful vacuum to draw out the sentient beings residing within the subcutaneous tissues of Practitioner Su. These sentient beings have nowhere to escape and have already automatically risen to the dermal layer of the cells. We rotate the vacuum at high speeds. I am very satisfied with the speed and suction of this device. Even the user must be careful when operating it to avoid being pulled by the rotational force. I have discovered that modern technology is truly remarkable.
The Power of the Six-Character Name
If sentient beings remain in the space of the past and do not understand how to manifest compassion, they will be unable to leave. They will remain trapped in the space of the past. Only the six-character name of Namo Amituofo can help them break free from this bondage. At this moment, the chanting of the Buddha-name by Practitioner Su begins to resonate. We chant Namo Amituofo, and there is no need to fear death. As they gaze upon the Buddha-light, the beings are led away by the Buddha to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Namo Amituofo.
