The Paradox of Creation
The concept of creating something from nothing is a profound mystery that requires a discerning heart to truly understand. To walk the path of the , one must possess the clarity to distinguish between what is essential and what is merely a distraction. One must learn to discern what to embrace and what to let go of, for this is the foundation of all spiritual progress.
The Inherent Nature of the True Self
The true self is inherently empty, yet it is the source of all things. Every being possesses this original nature, and it is naturally yours to own. Once you undergo the process of purification, this true self will naturally manifest. Within this natural state, one gains the power to transform the world around them. One can shift the environment and influence the circumstances of life. However, because of the arising of confusion, this true nature is often obscured. This confusion is a false creation—a something that arises from nothing—yet it is not a part of your true self.
The Danger of Confusion
This confusion comes from nowhere and goes nowhere, yet it is the root of all suffering. It is a mental state that can only be healed by the heart. It causes beings to experience endless suffering, with hardships compounding upon one another. Because of this, beings have been trapped in the cycle of rebirth for countless nights, unable to attain clarity or find a way out of the six realms of existence. This is the greatest danger for any human being; it is a trap that must be avoided at all costs. For those who are dedicated to their practice, one must be especially cautious. Confusion is like a hungry tiger, waiting in the shadows to devour the spirit of any creature that wanders too close.
Manifesting for the Benefit of All
In contrast, the true self operates in a state of original emptiness, yet it can manifest all things. It is a state where one has whatever is needed, and knows whatever one needs to know. It is as if one is creating something from nothing, but this power is not for personal use. Instead, it is provided for the benefit of all beings, serving the needs of the masses. It is the power used to help beings leave suffering behind and find happiness, and to rescue them from their deepest difficulties.
Choosing the Right Path
The true self and confusion represent two extremes. When they enter into the realm of creating something from nothing, the impact on beings is a matter of two extremes. One must possess the wisdom to choose the path carefully. One must choose to embrace the true self and let go of confusion. This is the essential duty of every practitioner who seeks to walk the right path.
