Spirits of the Ming Dynasty speak:
"Namo Amituofo. We are the spirits from the Ming Dynasty. Our entire kingdom has migrated here. Following our defeat in war, we settled in this land, hoping to find a place near water where we could live in peace. However, we were struck by a severe drought. It was only through the great fortune of meeting Practitioner Su, who led everyone in chanting the Buddha-name, that we received rain. The drought ended, we had water to drink, and all life began to flourish once more."
The Night the Earth Opened
"Let me tell you, it was a terrifying night. We were suddenly enveloped by a massive, dark cloud. We thought a great rainstorm was coming, but nothing happened. Then—BOOM! A thunderous roar shook the heavens. We were dragged here because a shaman had used his magic. It was absolutely horrifying! The ground split open, and people fled in a panic, only to sink layer by layer into the depths of the earth. To our shock, we were buried under layers of dust and sand, which eventually sprouted into grass. Many of our companions, unable to escape with us, were trapped in the same subterranean layers. We saw so many men and women, still burdened by their worldly emotions, transformed into crawling insects and flying creatures, orbiting around us, unable to depart."
Deliverance Through the
"Every morning, during the walking meditation and chanting, the space opens up. We see beings from many different dynasties appearing. Each one of them breaks through the boundaries of space to chant. They follow Practitioner Su and the chanting team to save beings. In another area of this space, we see indigenous spirits kneeling before Practitioner Su, bowing in gratitude for the nourishment of the rain. These indigenous beings, having witnessed the shaman’s powerful magic, now see that the mystery of life within the lake is being unraveled. Having encountered the true Buddha, they are finally able to be saved. They chant, break through the limitations of space, and depart. Namo Amituofo. We are so grateful to Practitioner Su for this deliverance."
The of Liberation
"The spirits within the water shimmer with seven-coloured light. Seeing Practitioner Su arrive, they are filled with immense joy, seeking liberation. At that moment, we saw the wild ducks on the lake flapping their wings and taking flight. Practitioner Su said, 'You must listen to the Dharma.' Shi Hailiang said, 'Remember to chant Namo Amituofo, and remember to listen to Practitioner Su’s Dharma talks.' Once again, the sound of the Buddha-name, Namo Amituofo, rose from the earth. We are so grateful to the Buddha, and so grateful to Practitioner Su."
"Namo Amituofo."
