Deliverance to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss: The Spirit of Lay Practitioner Tu's Unborn Child

This interview was recorded on June 6, 2025, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. It features the spirit of an unborn child who was aborted by Lay Practitioner Tu in 1977. Through the compassionate deliverance facilitated by Practitioner Su and the power of Namo Amituofo, the spirit was able to leave behind the cycle of suffering and find refuge in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The spirit of the unborn child speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Right now, everything before my eyes is filled with a brilliant, radiant light. I cannot help but burst into tears. My spirit has finally found a place to rest, a true harbour. I am so incredibly grateful. Thank you, my mother, for still remembering me and for creating the Causal Conditions that allowed me to leave suffering behind and gain happiness. Thank you to the Buddha, and thank you to Practitioner Su.

In truth, my arrival in this lifetime was meant to be an act of repaying a kindness. I have always felt such deep gratitude for the grace you showed me in a past life. You gave a home to someone like me, who had nowhere else to go. Even though I was only qualified to be a servant in that household, the warmth you extended to me was never lacking.

A Bond Forged in Past Lives

Back then, I truly treated you as if you were my own biological mother. Later, our household was framed by others, and our entire life collapsed. On the very day we were to be driven out of our home, you fought desperately to protect us. In that struggle, you caused harm to those who were attacking us, and it was only through that sacrifice that we were kept safe. The days that followed were filled with hardship, yet my heart was at peace. Even though the road was rocky, I felt secure and profoundly thankful.

After the Causal Conditions of that lifetime concluded, I reincarnated through many different lives. Yet, no matter where I went, my spirit always longed to repay your kindness. So, in this lifetime, when the opportunity arose for me to become your child, I came with such joy and anticipation.

The Obstacles of Karmic Creditors

However, because of the harm we caused in that past life to protect ourselves, those individuals transformed into karmic creditors. They followed us, seeking revenge, and we had to endure the retribution for those past actions. Because of their obstruction, I was denied the chance to be born as your child. Although my heart was filled with regret, I felt that if my sacrifice could help appease the anger of those karmic creditors, then it was entirely worth it.

Deliverance into the Light

What I never expected was that I would receive the opportunity for my mother to invite Namo Amituofo to perform Chao Du for me. When I was brought to the Buddha-land, my entire being was enveloped in a powerful, healing energy. I felt such a profound sense of safety, and I truly came to know Namo Amituofo. I knew that you, my mother, would want me to follow the Buddha without delay, and so I made the decision to go to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

I am so deeply grateful for the Causal Conditions I shared with you in the past. I hope that as you continue to study the Dharma and follow the Buddha, you will one day come to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, for you are a truly good person.

Now, I have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss and have become a Wonderful Sound. I will cherish this blessing with all my heart.
