The Path of and Clarity
During the Hong Kong Winter Assembly, Namo Amituofo provided profound guidance on the nature of our desires and the path to true peace. When we seek relief from disasters and the fulfillment of our wishes, we must ask ourselves what we are truly pursuing. Namo Amituofo teaches that our prayers should be rooted in equanimity and clarity. Without a balanced heart and a clear mind, our requests remain obscured by the turbulence of the world.
Navigating the Currents of Impermanence
We often wonder how to achieve our goals within a world defined by impermanence. Life is ever-changing, like clouds drifting in the breeze. To truly realise your wishes, you must look within. Ask yourself: has my heart truly found relief from the disasters of my own making? When your heart is clear, free from wandering thoughts, and aware of its inherent purity and goodness, you are walking the path to liberation.
Aligning with the Truth
How do we fulfil our wishes? It depends entirely on the state of our hearts and our subsequent actions. To see a vow come to fruition, one must understand the true meaning of practice. You must align your heart with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. If you desire a certain outcome, your heart must be sincere and grounded in reality. When your heart is properly placed, your actions will naturally become clear, and your wisdom will manifest. Namo Amituofo reminds us that the path to fulfilling our wishes is found not in external grasping, but in the internal purification of our own hearts. By chanting Namo Amituofo, we return to this state of purity, allowing our true nature to shine and our deepest, most virtuous vows to be realised. Namo Amituofo.
