The Infinite Potential of the Human Spirit

Human beings possess infinite potential. If you direct your life toward the path of Goodness and virtue, you will find that your capacity for growth is truly limitless. Do not set artificial boundaries for yourself. Through consistent practice, you can improve, then improve further; you can cultivate Goodness, then cultivate even more; you can undergo purification, and then more purification.

The Path of Selfless Purification

If you are able to act with a selfless heart, putting the needs of all beings before your own, you will eventually refine your personality until not a single trace of ego remains. By becoming gentle, accommodating, and harmonious, you will be able to overcome any obstacle. You will transform and come into perfect sync with your true self. In this state of natural stillness, your inherent abilities will manifest. When the natural capabilities of your Six Roots are fully revealed, you have reached the state of an awakened being.

The Perils of the Unchecked Mind

Conversely, if you allow yourself to drift toward the path of negativity and evil, and you fail to impose the necessary discipline upon your mind, you will suffer. If you do not seek the guidance of a true spiritual friend to help you change your ways, your negative tendencies will intensify. This leads to extreme personality traits, distorted thoughts, and, in the most severe cases, you may even fall into the Demon Realm.

Cultivating the Seeds of

This is why, in your practice, you must remember the words of the sutras: "Grow and achieve the fruit of Bodhi." Because you have planted seeds of Goodness, purity, and virtue in the soil of your heart in the past, they will eventually sprout. Only then can you witness the growth of the seedling within you. As it matures into a great tree, it will blossom and bear the fruit of Bodhi, leading you to the ultimate result of becoming a Buddha.

The Boundless Mind of the Buddha

Even after you have reached the state of an awakened being, your possibilities remain infinite. The mind-capacity of a Buddha is boundless; it can encompass the entire universe. To share the same heart and vows as the Buddha, and to follow Him in the work of saving beings, is the greatest fortune any being could ever hope for.

Do not limit yourself. There are endless suffering beings waiting to be saved. Wholeheartedly dedicate yourself to saving them, and continue this work directly and without end.
