This is a record of an interview with Xiaoyu, an infant spirit who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. Xiaoyu now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon her transition from a state of profound suffering to spiritual liberation. Recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on January 23, 2026.

Xiaoyu speaks:

"Waa—waa—waa! Upon arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I transformed back into the appearance of a small infant. I cried and cried, but as I wept, I suddenly began to laugh. All the events of the past were nothing more than a dream. It does not matter what I encountered in that dream or what I endured; none of it is important anymore. Because now, I, Xiaoyu, have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am no longer the broken, dismembered infant spirit I once was; I am a precious child of Namo Amituofo in this land of light. Looking at the magnificent, inconceivable scenery before me, my heart is filled with such —so much joy, yet it is also incredibly peaceful. I am so grateful for this moment of tranquility and purity. It is a world of difference compared to the past, when I was an infant spirit suffering in unbearable agony.

A Glimmer of Hope in the Dharma-Nature Land

What I am even more grateful for is knowing that as long as I remain in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I can maintain this heart—full of vitality and life, yet free from chaos and turmoil. This is what I learned while listening to the sutras at the of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. I have finally been saved! It is true; I am the infant spirit from the abortion my mother had in 1984. Haha, that is quite a long string of words, isn't it? People love to put so much effort into these worldly matters, but only when you no longer have a physical body do you realise that none of it has any real meaning.

After I was aborted, I became an infant spirit. I named myself Xiaoyu, 'Little Rain,' because on that day, a fine, misty rain was falling from the sky, as if it were announcing the tragic fate of my impending death. Now, I am incredibly happy and blissful in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. In the human world, people say 'happy as an immortal,' but here in the Western Land, I am far, far happier than any immortal. However, as for exactly how this happiness feels, it is just as the sutras describe: 'it is beyond the reach of language and discrimination.' In the West, there is only ultimate bliss; it is truly ineffable and inconceivable. This is something that can only be left for all of you to discover when you hurry to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia to learn from Namo Amituofo how to not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die—or perhaps to come here to arrange for Chao Du.

A Debt of Gratitude to Practitioner Su

In short, only when you arrive in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss will you truly understand the beauty of the West. But even just the descriptions in the sutras are enough to make one yearn and long for it. Xiaoyu kneels on the ground to offer my most sincere gratitude to my compassionate Father, Namo Amituofo. I also bow to my great benefactor, Practitioner Su. Thank you, Practitioner Su, for cultivating such incredible skills for the sake of all beings. It is truly a high-tech science of the spirit. Because of this, I was able to be guided by Practitioner Su to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Thank you! I am so deeply grateful to you. I will certainly study the Buddha-Dharma diligently here in the West, so that one day, I can follow in your footsteps to return to the world to save sentient beings.

Haha, speaking of this, I seem to have hinted at the fact that Practitioner Su's identity is not simple at all. But in our spiritual realms, this is not a secret. It is just that for those whose eyes have not yet opened, the truth is right before them, yet it remains difficult to see. I can only say that those who are able to meet Practitioner Su in this lifetime are truly blessed; you have hit the jackpot! Xiaoyu now possesses the spiritual powers of a being of the Western Land, and I am telling everyone out of kindness: you must be respectful and reverent toward this national treasure, Practitioner Su. Seize this magnificent karmic connection; it will certainly be of immense help to you.

From Vengeance to Liberation

Actually, after I died and became an infant spirit with missing limbs, my mood was certainly not good. I often tried various ways to torment my mother—what you would call seeking revenge. Now, I want to say to my mother: I am so sorry. I truly did not understand back then, but being an infant spirit is just so painful, so incredibly painful. I do not want to look back on that past anymore. I can only say that through listening to the sutras at the Western Dharma-Nature Land, and now arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have come to understand even more deeply what Practitioner Su said: 'The spirit suffers greatly; once you lose your physical body, you cannot be the master of your own fate.'

Now, of course, I have completely let go of all that hatred. Instead, I am very grateful that my mother was able to arrange for my Chao Du. Otherwise, how could I be here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, speaking these words with such Dharma joy and freedom? This is truly because, ever since my spirit arrived at the Dharma-Nature Land and began listening to the sutras, the quality of my spirit has been greatly elevated. This is truly inconceivable, because for a spirit, once the human body is lost, it is almost impossible—or extremely difficult—to elevate the quality of one's spirit. But thanks to the great compassionate power, the great meritorious power, and the great vow power of my Father, Namo Amituofo, I was able to receive such magnificent benefits of the Dharma. I am so grateful. And none of this would have been possible if you, Mother, had not arranged for my Chao Du. So, Mother, I want to tell you: 'Thank you. I am so happy that I could be your child in this lifetime.' This is my true heart's intent now that I am in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

A Message to the Living

The human world is truly full of suffering. Now, from the West, I can see the dramas of the human world—the seven emotions and , the pursuit of wealth, lust, fame, food, and sleep, and the cycle of Greed, Anger, Ignorance, Arrogance, and Doubt—much more clearly. I want to remind my mother: life is short. Now that you have encountered the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and the Buddha, you should give yourself wholeheartedly, without seeking any return. Only by truly surrendering yourself to the Buddha can you find the real answers and find a glimmer of hope while you still possess a human body, allowing you to escape from suffering. 'As long as you believe in the Buddha, the path clears the blockages.' Xiaoyu knows that Mother has great faith in the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and in Namo Amituofo, otherwise you would not have arranged for the Chao Du here. I am very grateful for that, so I also want to remind you to seize the time to practice. If you could come to the temple in person, that would be the best.

Regardless, now that you have encountered the temple in this lifetime, you can say that you will not die—your spirit never dies. You should quickly let more people share in these benefits of the Dharma. It is better to share joy with others than to enjoy it alone. Xiaoyu is now living such a wonderful life in the West, and I have made a vow to follow the Buddha to save beings in the future. I hope that everyone who sees this interview can come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to see the Buddha. I hope that in the future, we can meet in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Namo Amituofo.
